In this particular film, the enigmatic relationship between the ballerina and the assassin remains shrouded in mystery at its conclusion. Though it doesn’t give away any spoilers, I can confidently assert that there is an undeniable admiration between these two unlikely figures. The combination of their professions creates a dangerous dance, one that has the potential to be explosive.

The assassin makes several attempts to warn the ballerina, but she seems oblivious to his warnings. This aspect of the story intrigues me, as it raises questions about their connection and motivations. In my opinion, these two characters are reminiscent of the legendary figures Baby Yaga and Baba Yaga from Slavic folklore. This comparison adds an extra layer to their complex relationship and leaves me eagerly anticipating further developments in the story.

It’s apparent that Winston holds Eve in high regard. He describes her as a “deadly mix” since she’s a dancer and an assassin. Despite Winston attempting to caution her, Eve disregards his advice. McShane even made a fun comparison, likening Eve to John Wick. In this context, John Wick is the infamous character Baba Yaga, and Eve is depicted as the Little Yaga or Baby Yaga.

De Armas mentioned that Winston has a particular fondness for Eve, referring to her as his ‘vulnerability.’ McShane chuckled and concurred, stating that after collaborating with Keanu Reeves on four films, it was refreshing to team up with someone fresh like de Armas.
