As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for romantic affairs and a soft spot for heartfelt stories, I must say that Charlie Puth‘s wedding to his childhood sweetheart Brooke Sansone is nothing short of enchanting. It’s not every day we witness such a beautiful tale of friendship blossoming into love, all while reminding us of the power of happiness and nostalgia.
Last month, Charlie Puth got married to his beloved, Brooke Sansone, in a heartfelt ceremony that left him feeling more emotional than expected. In an interview with PEOPLE, the musician admitted that he had rehearsed his vows numerous times and appeared quite self-assured – until he stood at the altar.
In a confessional moment, he shared, “I was filled with joy and couldn’t help but tremble and weep, yet I was so overwhelmed with happiness.” It’s Charlie Puth, the artist whose show The Charlie Puth Show is currently streaming on The Roku Channel, who married his long-time friend Sansone on September 7 at his family estate in Montecito, California.
According to Vogue’s report, the wedding ceremony for the couple was held on their driveway, with an olive tree serving as a backdrop, followed by a reception inside a tent. The groom shared that they had initially planned to host a pre-wedding welcome party, but unexpected changes caused them to celebrate in their own house instead.
He noted that it felt extraordinarily meaningful, “The town mirrored my wedding memories in a uniquely poignant manner.” In other words, he explained, “As I recall my wedding moments, the town grew even more precious to me.
After getting married, the groom posted about his wedding day on Instagram, sharing memorable moments such as a video of him reciting his vows at the altar. “Today, standing here with Brooke, I can’t help but feel that today is the happiest I’ve ever been in my 32 years,” he wrote in the caption.
Despite encountering challenging situations beyond comprehension, one constant truth he held was his unwavering bond with Sansone. From their friendship in childhood to standing together at the altar, Puth had always known she was his destiny. “I vow to love you each day of this life and even more when we transition to the next,” he penned. “Thank you for making me the happiest man on earth. You have always been my one and only,” he concluded.
The Charlie Puth Show is now streaming for free on The Roku Channel.
