As a devoted movie enthusiast who has followed Dakota Johnson’s career since her early days, I must say that every interview with her feels like a journey through time. Her recent reminiscing about meeting Justin Timberlake on the set of The Social Network was nothing short of fascinating.
In a recent chat with Vanity Fair, Hollywood’s beloved actress Dakota Johnson opened up about her initial impressions of fellow star Justin Timberlake when they first worked together on the set of “The Social Network.” She shared some interesting insights about her thoughts on him prior to their collaboration.
When inquired if the actress from Fifty Shades had prior ideas about Timberlake, she affirmed and remarked, “Oh, absolutely! I was around 19, and I was practically sitting on Justin Timberlake while playfully flicking my hair across his face like a whip.
Moreover, she mentioned that he was both charming and considerate towards Dakota, as they were initially strangers when they first crossed paths.
In addition, Johnson shared an experience from filming a particular scene in The Social Network, stating that it was so immersive she felt as though she were living the event at that very moment.
In the movie, the actress who portrayed a Stanford University student confided that she and her fellow actor Justin Timberlake had to reshoot the scene numerous times, which proved distressing for her. Laughingly, Johnson commented, “We did it so often that it feels like I’m reliving it in the present.
Additionally, she playfully disclosed that she got to retain the distinctive red briefs visible in the scene, her sole appearance in the movie. “They’re quite flattering on the derriere,” she commented.
The movie “The Social Network” provides a dramatic portrayal of the lawsuits involving Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, concerning the social networking site. The film highlights Zuckerberg’s endeavor in constructing one of the globe’s most powerful networks for connecting people.
In this rendition, Jesse Eisenberg plays Mark Zuckerberg, whereas Justin Timberlake assumes the character of Sean Parker, who is known for being the founder of Napster and a one-time president at Facebook.
Dakota Johnson and Justin Timberlake came together for a small The Social Network reunion on Saturday Night Live in January. Interestingly, Dakota mentioned that during the movie, she noticed her co-star Andrew Garfield, who played Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, and was quite taken aback by his acting abilities.
