‘I Put It In My Drink’: Kevin Hart Opens Up About Drug-Fueled Vegas Night And 2017 Extortion Scandal

As a longtime admirer of Kevin Hart‘s comedic prowess, I must admit this latest revelation leaves me somewhat disheartened and disappointed. The man who made us laugh through thick and thin, whose humor was a beacon of light in our lives, now finds himself embroiled in a web of deceit and misfortune.

In 2017, during a weekend trip to Las Vegas, comedian Kevin Hart confessed to experimenting with the mind-altering substance known as Molly and engaging in infidelity with someone other than his wife, Eniko.

The event transpired during a deposition submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on August 6, which is related to Jonathan ‘JT’ Jackson’s lawsuit against Hart. According to the account provided by Hart, this narrative delves into the events leading up to his infidelity and the ensuing extortion scandal.

In the course of the testimony, Hart disclosed that a person, whose name remains undisclosed, persuaded him to add Molly to his drink against his initial hesitation. Translating this into more conversational English, he admitted that under pressure from a friend, he reluctantly made the decision to put Molly in his drink. To put it casually, he confessed that he eventually gave in and mixed it with his drink, adding that there was some water in the glass, making the Molly less potent.

Hart found himself content after having the substance in his beverage, and he had a great time on that particular evening due to its influence.

While on a visit to Las Vegas, Hart encountered Montia Sabbag, who later became his romantic partner. Accompanied by another lady named Morgan, Hart and Sabbag subsequently retired to his hotel room together.

As per Hart’s account, Morgan departed, and both he and Sabbag dozed off afterward. Regarding Montia, Hart clarified, “I didn’t engage in intimate activities with her that night.” However, he admitted to having such an encounter with her the next morning when she awoke him.

Hart also shared his conviction that a covert camera had filmed their meeting, which he hadn’t initially noticed. He thought Sabbag might have been attempting to approach the hidden camera, but it escaped his attention at the time. Later on, this video footage was utilized in an attempt to blackmail Hart.

In 2021, the extortion charges against Jackson were dismissed. Later on, Jackson filed a lawsuit against Hart, claiming that Hart falsified evidence and breached their previous agreement.

Last month, a court case was initiated, alleging that Hart should have issued a public declaration verifying Jackson’s innocence. However, what Hart posted on Instagram merely indicated that the charges against Jackson had been dismissed, which Jackson argues did not fully exonerate him.

Jackson is pursuing a claim for over $12 million in compensation, along with a court trial. He argues that Hart’s statement did not adequately repair his reputation or rectify the harm inflicted by the extortion allegations.
