As a dedicated follower of the British Royal Family, I must say that it was heartwarming to see Prince William enjoying Christmas Day at Sandringham estate with his family. The Prince of Wales, who has lived through numerous Christmases at the estate, shared some delightful anecdotes about the festivities and reminisced about memories from his childhood.

On Christmas Day, Prince William and fellow members of the royal family enjoyed the holiday at the Sandringham estate. Sharing his feelings about spending the day with loved ones, Prince Charles, also known as the Prince of Wales, expressed that he had the greatest amount of joy among everyone present.

One thing he was happy about was that no one was filming, and everyone was living in the moment. While making an appearance on the Apple Fitness + podcast, the father of three went on to answer the questions related to the festivities.

Initially, the Prince shared, “One advantage is that we face each other like a family, and since I was young, trying not to laugh while seated opposite my cousins has often proven challenging.

Additionally, he mentioned that he frequently experiences fits of laughter during his duties, fortunately, there’s usually no one recording, so it goes unnoticed. On Christmas, it’s delightful to let loose with a laugh and have a good time.

Besides the Duke of Cornwall, there were also Princess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, the two daughters of Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah, Peter Philips, and Zara Tindall who participated in the Christmas festivities.

As a child, the Prince of Wales fondly reminisced about his Christmas days, sharing, “I remember clearly strolling along here. My grandfather, Prince Philip, would walk so swiftly that there’d be large gaps between all of us struggling to keep pace, with us little ones at the back trying our best to catch up.

He went on to add, “Walking along here, you’ve got big pine trees that are quite synonymous with this part of Norfolk. And I love the smell of pine in the winter. It’s very soothing.”

This past year posed more challenges for the royal family, particularly for the Princess of Wales and the monarch, who both faced battles against cancer and temporarily stepped away from their royal responsibilities.
