In the first installment of “I Have A Crush At Work,” we’re introduced to Tateishi and Mitsuya as they juggle the complications of a clandestine romance within their shared workplace. Viewers noticed Tateishi’s discomfort around chatty colleagues, while Mitsuya maintained a frosty demeanor at work to keep their relationship under wraps.
Due to their hectic work commitments, the couple finds themselves spending less time together, which often results in awkward encounters such as a shared elevator ride with their superior. Subsequently, a planned cinema outing was disrupted by a work-related meeting, during which they concealed their romantic involvement from others. The story concluded with them addressing each other casually using their first names instead of endearments.
In Episode 2 of “I Have A Crush At Work,” Tateishi and Morizono will meet up with Hayakawa for drinks after work, while Mitsuya heads to an izakaya for a product launch celebration. Since both events are happening at the same place, it turns into a team outing from their department. This puts the couple in a tricky situation as they need to keep their relationship a secret.
In a tough spot, Mitsuya may overindulge and pass out, leading kind-hearted Tateishi to quietly tend to her needs. Yet, a fellow coworker, Somei, notices Mitsuya in a weak state with Tateishi. Eventually, Tateishi approaches Somei privately, requesting him to maintain their connection as a secret.
In two years from now, on January 13, 2025, Episode 2 of “I Have A Crush At Work” will air. If you’re in Japan, you can catch it live on Tokyo MX at 11 pm, with Sun Television following suit at 11:30 pm, and BS Fuji showing it two days later at midnight. Enjoy your viewing!
In Japan, the second episode of “In My Office, I Have a Crush” is coming to streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video and U-NEXT. For international viewers, it’ll be accessible for free on Ani-One Asia’s official YouTube channel (available only in certain regions).
