Hyperliquid’s HYPE Stakers to Receive Azuki’s ANIME Airdrop

Hyperliquid announced that those who stake their HYPE tokens could expect to receive a distribution of ANIME tokens, which empower the open Anime universe.

On Monday morning, news broke out through a post on X (previously known as Twitter), where Hyperliquid unveiled their partnership with ANIME. This collaboration is supported by Azuki, a decentralized platform focusing on the anime community, which is backing the ANIME project.

Hyperliquid Announces Collaboration with Anime

Hyperliquid has been drawing a lot of interest with their recent declaration, setting up HYPE stakers for potential airdrops of the ANIME token. The ANIME team provided more details about their project’s ambitions. They emphasized that their goal is to restructure the anime industry into a decentralized creative economy run by the community.

According to Hyperliquid’s announcement, HYPE token holders are eligible for an airdrop of the new anime project during its Token Generation Event (TGE).

In essence, Azuki – a trailblazing Web3 anime community – plays a pivotal role in this endeavor. As an innovator in decentralized branding, Azuki has risen as a significant influencer within the anime and blockchain realm. The partnership with Hyperliquid is perceived as a shrewd step to cultivate harmony between two emerging systems.

“This blend of culture and DeFi could ignite serious interest,” one user on X quipped.

In the anime world imagined by Azuki and its initial creators, there’s a focus on enabling fans to play an active role within the anime environment. This fan-focused approach mirrors the increasing movement towards decentralization in the entertainment and content creation industries.

Anime has been a significant influence on worldwide culture for many years, impacting areas such as art, fashion, gaming, and music. However, its enthusiasts have traditionally been merely consumers. That changes today,” announced the Anime account.

The ANIME token, debuting on Ethereum and Arbitrum, intends to allocate approximately 50.5% of its total supply to the community. Besides those who stake HYPE with Hyperliquid, recipients of this airdrop also encompass enthusiastic Kaito chatterboxes, users on Arbitrum, and individuals passionate about anime.

Thrilled to have you all on board! Here’s a warm greeting to the Hyperliquid community members, Kaito enthusiasts, Arbitrum participants, as well as our fellow anime fans – let’s join hands in our expanding anime universe!

According to BeInCrypto’s data, the price of Hyperliquid’s HYPE token increased by more than 3% after this announcement. Currently, each HYPE token is being traded for approximately $21.26.

In essence, the strategic approach of Hyperliquid’s platform distribution has been instrumental in boosting user interaction and credibility. Furthermore, its decentralized token distribution model, introduced in November, has raised the bar for DeFi standards. This innovative model may find strong appeal among a community that has often been excluded from the creative decision-making process in the past.

Nevertheless, the journey for the HYPE token hasn’t been entirely trouble-free. Just recently, the total value locked (TVL) on Hyperliquid reached its lowest point this year, which is causing some to question the platform’s long-term viability.

Beyond this, it’s important to note that Hyperliquid has encountered disputes, particularly surrounding the safety of validators. Additionally, there have been whispers about possible cyber-attack risks, rumored to be associated with the notorious Lazarus hacking group.

The concerns and alerts raised by the community have made it more difficult for the platform to preserve its good name. Nevertheless, the ANIME airdrop presents a chance for Hyperliquid to reconnect with its user base. By getting involved in a project that combines anime and blockchain, Hyperliquid might capture a wider demographic, particularly those enthusiastic anime fans interested in delving into Web3.
