As a die-hard fan here, it’s thrilling to recount my excitement over Hugh Jackman stepping back into the role of Wolverine for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’. After portraying this iconic character for an impressive 24 years, Jackman had initially planned to bid adieu following his powerful performance in ‘Logan’ (2017), which appeared to close Wolverine’s story. Yet, I was overjoyed to see him return!
Yet, the chance to collaborate with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool was too tempting to resist, which led to his comeback. As a 55-year-old, some fans worry that Jackman might not be able to maintain the same caliber of performance as he did in his youth.
With the movie’s premiere, all doubts were laid to rest as Jackman displayed a remarkable physical fitness. More recently, pictures have backed up this claim.

Last fortnight, Jackman shared insights about his disciplined diet and workout routine during an interview with Jimmy Fallon, discussing the details.
Consuming a large amount equates to approximately 6000 calories, which isn’t necessarily what you aim for. For instance, half a pizza totals around 6000 calories, but this meal is actually tilapia and beans – yes, tilapia and beans. I’m not sure why tilapia was chosen; perhaps it’s because it’s a lean fish that pairs well with green beans.
It’s clear that the actor has abstained from carbs for several months before the shoot, and I truly understand his situation. Yet, maintaining physical fitness isn’t just about diet; while it plays a major role, regular intense workouts are equally important in achieving the desired physique.
For about a year and a half now, Jackman has been chronicling his movie preparation process using the hashtag #WolverineRebornAgain. Moreover, he’s been involved in a fun and friendly competition with his fellow actor Ryan Reynolds to determine who can achieve peak physical fitness first.
