Hugh Jackman Jokes His Instructor Has ‘Patience of a Saint’ As Actor ‘Messed Up’ Skipping Routine on Stage; Says He Still ‘Had a Blast’

After a mishap during the opening night performance in N.Y.C, Hugh Jackman (known for his roles as Deadpool and Wolverine) is working diligently to perfect his skipping routine once more. To help him achieve this goal, he’s been training with his coach, Beth Lewis. On Instagram, he posted a video of their intense workout on the ropes, along with a heartfelt shout-out to his trainer and a humorous comment about repeating the process multiple times.

In a video, Jackman was demonstrating various jump rope tricks, and later in the clip, his coach also participated. Jackman captioned the post saying, “Here’s the deal… My trainer Beth Lewis and I have been working tirelessly for months to get me even slightly prepared to perform this jump rope choreography on stage.

He went on to say, “She’s incredibly patient, like a saint! Despite my mistakes, I had an amazing time. And guess what? I get to do it another 21 times! Thank you, @bethlewisfit. #fromnewyorkwithlove @radiocitymusichall.

Jackman wore a grey tank top and shorts while training a surprising new skill in the gym. At the start of his concert series, however, the actor leaped over ropes in a two-piece suit, astonishing the audience.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I couldn’t help but share my exhilaration after an extraordinary evening. Last night, I graced the stage at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical! The emotions ran high – love, mishaps, perspiration, tears, laughter, and an indescribable bond between us performers and the adoring audience. It was a night that left an indelible mark on all of us.

In wrapping up this post, I can’t help but express my excitement – we’ve got an incredible 23 more chances to continue the celebration! A heartfelt thanks goes out to the exceptional cast and crew for their unwavering dedication and outstanding talent.

Hugh Jackman‘s inaugural concert series in half a decade, titled “From New York With Love,” saw the actor performing a selection of songs from across his musical career.
