I’m so excited! Genshin Impact is finally letting us create our own content with a new system called Miliastra Wonderland, and it’s launching on October 22, 2025! It’s coming to pretty much every platform – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and even mobile, alongside the Version Luna II update. I can’t wait to see what everyone creates!
Players who have finished the beginning of Genshin Impact will be able to access the mode directly within the game. You can find it either in the Paimon menu or by looking for an icon at the top of the screen.
Miliastra Wonderland shares a backstory with the world of Teyvat. It was created by Octavia, a member of the Hexenzirkel, a group from Mondstadt.
In this mode, players can fully customize their character, called the Manekin, changing everything from clothes and hairstyle to facial features and accessories. Best of all, you’re not limited to just one area – you can use your custom Manekin character when exploring all of Teyvat.
You can get outfits for the Manekin in a few different ways. Miliastra Wonderland will have a Battle Pass with both free and premium rewards, including outfit pieces and complete sets. The Miliastra Pass is included when you buy Genshin Impact’s usual Battle Pass, and purchasing the Miliastra Pass also gives you a discount on the regular Battle Pass.
You can also make outfits yourself by finding recipes and materials, similar to how you craft furniture in the Serenitea Pot or design outfits in Infinity Nikki. Completing quests will also reward you with new outfits.
Finally, players can get new outfits from time-limited gacha banners or the in-game store.
Miliastra Wonderland will feature special releases called ‘Odes,’ which are collections of themed outfits. These outfits will be rare – either Legendary (5-Star) or Elite (4-Star). The first Ode, called ‘Candlelit Revelry,’ will be inspired by Halloween and feature a witch theme.
Outfits can be gifted to friends after a certain level as well.

Miliastra Wonderland’s editing tools, called the Miliastra Sandbox, are designed to be user-friendly – you don’t need any coding skills! It uses a simple, building-block system based on connecting logic to create stages. HoYoverse is including all of Genshin Impact’s assets for creators to use, with more content being added regularly. Creators can also add achievements and leaderboards to their stages and have the opportunity to earn money, just like developers on platforms like Fortnite and Roblox.
