HoYoverse, a Chinese video game developer, has revealed that they will be part of the expanding list of companies at Gamescom 2025, happening in Cologne, Germany from August 20 to 24. They plan to showcase their top three games: Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero on the event floor. Unfortunately, there has been no information shared about the new Honkai game that was hinted at earlier this year.
At Genshin Impact’s display, you’ll find a strong emphasis on the upcoming area called Nod-Krai. The HSR booth will instead showcase Amphoreus, which is currently in play. Lastly, ZZZ’s exhibit will be themed around Spook Shack, a new faction joining the game starting from Version 2.1. All three booths will provide exclusive offline activities and merchandise for visitors.
In the time following Covid-19, HoYoverse has consistently showcased at Gamescom, drawing significant attention with their expansive exhibition space, generous swag bags, and an impressive number of cosplayers depicting characters from their games on the event floor. Leveraging the strong fanbase of its games in Germany, the company recently established a HoYoverse Café in Berlin, making it a permanent destination for enthusiasts.
At Gamescom 2025, you’ll find industry giants like Nintendo, Ubisoft, Capcom, Microsoft, Blizzard, and Wargaming in attendance.
