How To Watch Deadpool Movies In Order? Take A Look At the Watch Guide HERE

As a lifestyle expert with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, I must say that the Deadpool franchise has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. From its humble beginnings in X-Men Origins: Wolverine to the blockbuster success of Deadpool and Wolverine, it’s been an exhilarating journey for fans like me.

In 2024, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Wolverine have shattered box office records worldwide, making it hard to argue that this isn’t one of the year’s biggest blockbusters. The highly anticipated release has sparked a resurgence in interest for the Deadpool series, encouraging fans to re-explore the Deadpool universe from the origins of Wade Wilson’s character.

Sure thing!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

In my expertise as a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share some insights about the character we all love, Deadpool. His first live-action debut can be traced back to the 2009 film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The darker aspects of his past were initially unveiled in this movie, which received a mix of positive and negative critiques from critics upon its release.

Deadpool

In the wake of the harsh criticism that X-Men Origins: Wolverine received, I eagerly anticipated the launch of the character Wade Wilson following a seven-year hiatus, where he was paired with Deadpool. However, my wait finally paid off in 2016 when he got his own standalone project.

In Deadpool, the profanity-prone anti-hero Wolverine was given a fresh start after addressing the mistakes and flaws from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This self-contained film not only sparked the billion-dollar franchise but also cultivated a massive fanbase for the comical anti-hero.

No Good Deed

As a die-hard fan, let me tell you that “No Good Deed” is one of the most captivating representations of Deadpool’s character I’ve ever seen! The storyline centers around Wade Wilson’s unwavering determination to protect an elderly man from a mugging. It’s a testament to his heroic spirit and a must-watch for any Deadpool enthusiast!

The film playfully depicts Deadpool’s unsuccessful attempts to don his suit, resulting in an old man’s demise. One particular scene showcases Deadpool casually enjoying an ice cream cone next to the deceased old man, revealing both the comedic and morbid aspects of his personality.

Deadpool 2

Following the massive triumph of Deadpool, it was clear that a sequel would be forthcoming. The movie Deadpool 2 continued a comparable narrative thread as its predecessor, yet its release significantly bolstered the overall franchise.

In Deadpool 2, the character Wade Wilson embarks on an adventure through various universes that lie outside his own timeframe. Additionally, Deadpool 2 established the groundwork for the 2024 release featuring Deadpool and Wolverine.

Once Upon A Deadpool

2018 saw the release of a reworked version of Deadpool 2 titled “Once Upon A Deadpool.” This revised film showcased the comedic aspect of the humorous anti-hero, Wade Wilson, in an engaging manner. Notably, “Once Upon A Deadpool” aimed at a more expansive audience, including children, with its amusing narrative that seemed to mimic the beloved tale, The Princess Bride. In addition to captivating a larger demographic, “Once Upon A Deadpool” also managed to rework its R-rating.

Deadpool and Korg React

Following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019, Ryan Reynolds and director Taika Waititi collaborated on the promotional video “Deadpool and Korg React” for the film “Free Guy.”

One engagingly fun video features Deadpool and Korg chatting about their futures, all while cleverly referencing themselves humorously.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the hint dropped by Deadpool And Korg – a clear teaser for the upcoming “Deadpool & Wolverine”! Looking back on this moment now, post the release of the much-admired and buzzworthy “Deadpool & Wolverine,” it feels even more significant.

Deadpool & Wolverine

The movie continues right after Deadpool 2, and it shows how Deadpool, in his attempt to join the Avengers, fails miserably. This sets off a period of six years filled with dissatisfaction for Wade Wilson as he gives up his superhero identity and instead takes on a job at a car dealership, finding it challenging to make vehicle sales.

The routine gets broken up when the Time Variance Authority (TVA) enlists Deadpool, placing him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s multiverse where he encounters fresh enemies.

The title implies that the film “Deadpool & Wolverine” brings together Deadpool (the chatty mercenary) and Wolverine, who is played by Hugh Jackman once more, though this time as a version distinct from the one who selflessly perished in the movie “Logan.”

In unison, they set off on an adventure aimed at preserving Deadpool’s universe while possibly restoring Wolverine’s own. They traverse the Void using their unique mix of action and comedy as their guide, racing against time to reach Earth-10005 before the Fox universe’s clock ticks down to zero.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but geek out over the fact that, just like the Deadpool series, this movie is jam-packed with hilarious cameos and clever references that make me grin from ear to ear! Yet, what truly sets it apart is its ability to weave a heartfelt narrative, skillfully blending side-splitting humor with profound emotional depth. It’s like the creators took everything I love about Deadpool and crafted an experience that doesn’t disappoint.

While Ryan Reynolds hasn’t announced definite plans for Deadpool 4, the finale of Deadpool & Wolverine suggests there might be more adventures to come featuring Deadpool and possibly other recurring characters. This ending subtly implies that Deadpool could appear in future Marvel Cinematic Universe movies such as Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.
