So, the new 1.014.001 update for Stellar Blade dropped, and it’s pretty cool! They added a secret developer room – seriously! – and, well, another outfit for EVE that shows a lot. Getting into the dev room isn’t easy, though. You gotta finish a specific side quest first. That quest will give you the passcodes you need to unlock the room and snag the Ocean Strings outfit. It’s a bit of a grind, but definitely worth it if you’re a completionist like me!
However, players need to complete a significant portion of Stellar Blade before they can start this side quest. Specifically, they must finish the quests for both Digger and Enya. Doing so will add the “Strange Signal” side quest to the bulletin board in Zion.
How to Complete Stellar Blade’s Strange Signal Side Quest
The Strange Signal quest is quite simple in Stellar Blade. Players just need to go to the Scrap Yard Entrance supply camp located in the Wasteland. Once there, interacting with the old machine will add the Strange Information datapoint to your collection. After that, you can go back to the bulletin board in Zion to complete the quest.
How to Access the Secret Dev Room in Stellar Blade
Once you’ve completed the Strange Signal side quest, talk to Adam and head to Matrix 11. When you arrive, use the payphone located at the supply camp near the Tetrapod, and then fast travel to the Temporary Armoury Entrance supply camp.
Starting from the Temporary Armoury Entrance supply camp, players should turn left and take the elevator up to the next area. Continue following the path to your right until you encounter some Cricket Butcher enemies. Defeating them will grant you access to interact with the dev room door on your left. The password to enter is θεθλβλ.
How to Get the Ocean String Outfit in Stellar Blade
Within the developer area, players can discover several fun references and hidden surprises. However, the most valuable reward is the Ocean String nanosuit, located inside a chest in the second room. To unlock the chest and claim this new outfit, players just need to enter the password: θβδζκε.
