Joining a guild in Where Winds Meet offers several advantages. You’ll earn rewards simply by participating in activities you already enjoy, and you’ll gain access to a special guild shop where you can spend Treasure Tokens on unique items.
I’ve been thinking about guilds, and while they seem great, they’re not for every player, honestly. You really need to play fairly often to chip in and help the guild out. Plus, there are different kinds – some are all about fighting, others are for just hanging out, and some focus on exploring. I’ve realized I might have joined one that doesn’t really match what I like to do, and I could be missing out on a lot of cool stuff because of it!
If you’re thinking of a change, Where Winds Meet lets you switch guilds, start your own, or explore the Xuxian lands on your own. Luckily, leaving a guild is straightforward once you find the right menu.
How to leave a Where Winds Meet guild

In Where Winds Meet, leaving a guild is simple. Open your guild menu and go to the ‘Member Roster’ tab. You’ll see an option to ‘Leave Guild’ – if you’re the guild’s founder, it’ll say ‘Abandon Guild’ instead. On PC, you can access this with the ‘V’ key. PlayStation 5 players should use the Triangle button, and mobile players can just tap the text to leave.
The exact path to find to this menu and leave a guild is:
- Open the main menu
- Choose the ‘Guild’ option under the social section at the bottom
- Pick the ‘Member Roster’ tab on the left
- Select the ‘View’ option on the right (R3 on PS5)
- Look at the bottom of the screen and select the ‘Leave Guild’ option.
Keep in mind that after leaving a guild, you’ll need to wait six hours before joining another one. To use your time efficiently, it’s best to leave your current guild at the end of a play session and then look for a new one the next day.
From what I’ve seen, your Treasure Tokens and learned skills will transfer when you switch guilds. However, the new guild might not offer all the same skills as your previous one, especially if it’s at a different level. Don’t worry if you start a new season and everything seems reset – that’s normal! It just means you get to rebuild your guild and learn everything again.
