How To Help Marika In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there’s an engaging side quest hidden in the Trosky region that might slip past you unnoticed. This mission is named Miri Fajta and it revolves around Henry mediating a family squabble. The quest can be initiated by conversing with the Voivode at the Nomads’ camp.

Resolving this conflict may appear straightforward at first glance, but it’s actually quite complex with numerous unexpected turns. It involves challenging decisions and an unanticipated finale that might prove tricky to decipher. To help you navigate towards the most favorable resolution, we’ll provide guidance along the way.

How To Start Miri Fajta Quest

To embark on one of the top early-game quests, make your way to the Nomads’ camp, which is situated west of the Trosky region, close to the lake. Upon reaching the spot, locate Voivode, and he will share information about a girl named Marika with you.

You’ll be assigned the task of locating a missing girl named Marika, who is his daughter. To aid you in your search, feel free to converse with Aranka, Marika’s mother as well. To enhance your conversational skills, make sure to explore all available dialogue options. Once you’ve finished talking to everyone, proceed to search through Marika’s tent for any clues or information that may help you locate her.

Instead of struggling to pick the chest with great difficulty, simply grab the scarf located before it, and the task will be accomplished.

How To Find Marika

After grabbing the scarf, consult your map’s coordinates and chat with Bozhena. She’ll provide information regarding a possible spot where Marika might be found. Now, make your way back to the specified coordinates on your map.

To your southwest, not far from the map marker, you’ll spot a trail of blood. Further ahead, you’ll see a massive rock stained with blood. After taking a left and then another right, there will be a cave on your left side. Inside that very cave lies Marika. Have a chat with her.

You need to return to the camp to retrieve the Amulet and some supplies for Bohush. Speak with Aranka to obtain the supplies, and afterwards, ask Voivode for the Amulet.

Instead, he requests that you free Tibor, his son, who has been taken by some villagers, and ensure a fitting burial for his other son. This is the condition he sets for the Amulet to be handed over.

How To Rescue Tibor

This section of the mission proves challenging since it could tarnish your standing in the village where Tibor is detained. Proceed cautiously within the search area, as certain zones are considered off-limits. Note that Tibor is being confined at a house located near the barn in the southwestern part of the exploration zone.

To locate Tibor, venture into the village and turn right. You’ll find your destination just ahead, but it’s guarded so you can’t enter freely. There’s a local worker there whom you can approach for information. When you speak with him, you’ll be presented with two challenges: a persuasive conversation or an intimidating one. It’s advisable to choose the persuasive route.

If neither of the skills lack sufficient points, there’s an alternative method for rescuing Tibor. Circumvent the hut, and you’ll discover a window. Scale the window, release Tibor, and follow him. As you progress, engage with him, and he will share information about his late brother.

How To Bury Gejza

Tibor will reveal the location of Gejza’s body based on your map’s coordinates. After reaching that spot, converse with the woodcutter who can guide you to the foreman. You’ll find him nearby, probably in the midst of his wood-chopping tasks. At this point, you will encounter additional opportunities for skill checks: persuasion and intimidation.

After passing the skill test, he’ll instruct you to move Gejza’s body elsewhere. If you don’t pass, you might need to employ a stealthy strategy instead. Locate the body hanging from a tree on the northwestern part of the area.

When the woodcutters aren’t observing, release the body and transport it to the subsequent locations shown on your map. Upon arrival at that spot, deposit his body in the burial site, and a scene will unfold. Following the conclusion of this scene, discuss the amulet with Voivode once more; however, despite all your efforts for him, he won’t hand it over to you.

Instead, he will ask you to bring the letter given to him by King Sigismund. Marika has the letter.

Before going over her location, it is better you find the remaining supplies for Bohush.

How To Find Supplies For Bohush

If you’ve discussed it with Aranka, she should provide you with most of what you need. However, you might also require some Comfrey. You have two options: either purchase it from Barnaby the Herbalist or gather it yourself. If you decide to collect it yourself, you’ll need to travel to Zhelejov.

Head swiftly towards the specified region and move towards the western direction. Cross the nearby water body and follow the road leading westward. After traveling for some distance, keep an eye out for Comfrey growing on the ground, then gather it. For a precise location, refer to the image provided above.

Where To Find Voivode’s Letter

After gathering your supplies, head back to Marika. Show her the supplies first, then explain to her about the deal. Assure her that you will hand over the letter exclusively in return for the amulet, and she will disclose the location to you.

Next, proceed to the spot indicated on your map. You’ll find a letter hidden within a tree situated on the west side of the P marker. After reaching there, engage with the tree to retrieve the letter. Then, deliver that letter to Voivode and share with him the details of the agreement you struck with Marika.

After finding the letter, you can give it to Voivode and ignore Marika to end the quest instantly.

Instead of flat-out turning him down, it might be better to try and negotiate with him about the amulet. Since stealing it while he’s asleep isn’t a good idea, a more favorable result could be achieved by speaking with Tibor. He can provide valuable information on how Voivode enjoys placing wagers.

How To Get The Best Ending

Once your conversation with Voivode is complete, there’ll be more to discuss. Opt for that opportunity, and he’ll accept the wager. If you triumph in the horse race, another bet may follow, but if you don’t, there will be a total of three distinct bets at stake.

In the early stages of the game, if your horse isn’t exceptionally swift, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll emerge as the winner. It seems practically impossible.

If you emerge victorious, then the following wager will be facing off against Tibor in an unusual brawl. In this game, it’s said that Tibor possesses an extraordinary skillset, capable of delivering a flurry of punches that defy the norms of our fight simulation. These rapid-fire blows can significantly drain your health, but the secret to overcoming him lies in exercising patience.

As a fervent admirer, let me share some advice: Take your time, scrutinize his assaults meticulously, and execute flawless blocks, parries, and counterattacks. Once you’ve connected with a blow, be bold and relentless. Adhere to this game plan to overpower him, and Voivode will personally bestow the amulet upon Marika.

If you lose the opening bout but come back victorious in the second, there will be a third contest awaiting you. You must overcome Voivode himself in a dice game, but it’s quite amusing how fortunate he seems; after all, we were defeated by him in just one round, which leaves us wondering – is that even conceivable?

If you don’t know how to play dice in the game, take a look at our guide to understand it easily!

To ensure victory, have a conversation with Aranka prior to the game’s commencement, and she will provide you with a magical die. This magical die will aid you in altering the course of the match. Consequently, upon winning, Voivode will present Marika with the amulet and extend a warm welcome back into the camp.
