Bad Bunny is bringing his music back to Puerto Rico for the first time with a concert residency, which he’s named “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” (I Don’t Want to Leave Here). The multiple Grammy-winning artist, famous for songs like Yo Perreo Sola and Vete, will perform 21 shows at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico, kicking off on July 11.
From July 11th until August 24th, the “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” residency is taking place. During the initial nine performances, tickets can exclusively be purchased by local Puerto Rican residents.
The tickets for these performances become available for purchase starting this coming Wednesday at 9 a.m. Eastern Time, only at multiple spots across Puerto Rico. If you’re a resident in the area, you also have the opportunity to upgrade to VIP passes, which come with advantages like early access and a special VIP swag bag.
For those not based in Puerto Rico, there’s an advance sale coming up for the remaining concerts. You can register for this presale now at nomequieroirdeaqui.com; registration ends on Tuesday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Once registered, you’ll receive a presale code and will be able to buy tickets from Friday, starting at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
Bad Bunny’s recently released album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, is essentially an ode to Puerto Rico. It showcases a fusion of contemporary Latin urbano music and traditional Puerto Rican genres like Plena, salsa, and jibaro. In a video introducing his residency, Bad Bunny expressed gratitude towards his fans and his deep affection for Puerto Rico.
Because of the music and the affection you share with me through it, I’ve been fortunate enough to perform in various parts of the world. At the moment, I find myself in Puerto Rico. Here, I feel at home, enjoying myself, and truthfully, I don’t want to depart from this place.” (He said this in Spanish)
After completing Bad Bunny’s 2024 Most Wanted Tour across more than 30 North American cities, his upcoming residency in Puerto Rico is set to be an unforgettable event. Fans can expect a mix of his most popular tracks and the fresh tunes from his recently released album, making for an enjoyable experience.
