While playing the game, you’ll frequently have to search for particular items, either for your own purposes or as part of a quest. However, locating these items isn’t always straightforward. This tutorial will assist you in finding Marigold when you need it.
Where To Find Marigold

Marigold is a useful item often employed in the creation of various potions and mixtures, much like ingredients in an alchemist’s recipe book.
Luckily, you can get hold of it through several methods – by discovering it yourself in various locations, or buying it from specific vendors.
In my experience, I’ve found this particular plant flourishes best in rich soils, surprisingly even on mounds of debris, manure, or sprawling across pastures. This versatility makes it quite common to spot it in a variety of places.
The simplest spot to locate Marigold is undoubtedly the Herb Garden, which lies directly to the east of Trosky Castle, as indicated on the Torsky map.
Scattered within this little garden are several types of herbs. However, if you’re searching for blooms with a golden hue, they tend to be situated in a distinct part of the garden.
A suitable spot in the Trosky district is within the village of Tachov, situated to its eastern side. Here, you’ll discover another Herb Garden, much like the one mentioned earlier, where you can gather a few Marigolds.
In the Trosky region, the village of Tachov, lying to its east, offers another Herb Garden similar to the one before. Here, you can pick some Marigold.
A great additional spot is at Herbalist Barnaby’s home, located far north of Trosky Castle.
Just beyond Barnaby’s front door lies a quaint, private little garden where a handful of Marigolds bloom.
Where To Buy Marigold

A more convenient choice would be to directly buy plenty of Marigold as opposed to spending time searching for it. Given its affordability, acquiring an ample supply whenever necessary won’t be a problem.
- Apothecary Emmerich: Located southwest of Troskowitz, Emmerich sells Dried Marigold, which functions the same as fresh Marigold but lasts longer.
- Kuttenberg Apothecary: Another seller offering dried Marigold can be found west of the Fountain in the Kuttenberg settlement. Like Emmerich, this Apothecary stocks the dried version.
It’s possible that you may find Herbalists selling fresh Marigolds, as we weren’t able to locate any ourselves.
