How to Get Infernal Twinblades in Where Winds Meet

As a player of Where Winds Meet, I’ve gotta say, the Infernal Twinblades are amazing! You can actually unlock these powerful dual blades pretty early in the game, which is awesome. A lot of the best character builds I’ve seen really focus on using the Twinblades’ super-fast attacks to deal tons of damage. They’re a game-changer!

This guide provides a complete, step-by-step explanation of how to get the Infernal Twinblades in Where Winds Meet. Here’s what you’ll find.

How to Get Infernal Twinblades in Where Winds Meet

There are three ways to get Infernal Twinblades in Where Winds Meet.

  1. Qi Sheng: Melodies of Peace Quest Reward
  2. Skill Theft: Infernal Twins Sanctum Quest Reward
  3. Join the Midnight Blades Sect

Qi Sheng: Melodies of Peace

You can find Qi Sheng, a merchant specializing in unusual items, between the General’s Shrine teleporter and the Wayfarer on the map. When you first meet him, he’ll ask you to find the Beehive Oddity. If you return it to him, he’ll let you choose one of four new weapons.

  1. Panacea Fan
  2. Infernal Twinblades
  3. Thundercry Blades
  4. Vernal Umbrella.

Skill Theft: Infernal Twins Sanctum

  • Requirements: Skill Theft, Touch of Death, Dragon Key

The Infernal Twins – Sanctum is a hidden dungeon where players can steal skills. You can find it underground in eastern Qinghe, close to the Starfall Spring. Look for the location marked on the map to find the entrance.

Okay, so I figured out you need to use a Dragon Key to get the door open. Once that’s done, there’s this spiral staircase you gotta head down, and at the bottom, you’ll find an elevator. Stepping on that elevator actually starts the whole battle – pretty cool, huh?

Sanctums are unique dungeons focused on stealing skills, but players can’t fight enemies directly. You must sneak through the dungeon without being seen and defeat foes only by using the ‘Touch of Death’ ability to assassinate them.

Carefully go down the stairs and turn left to find the enemies guarding the entrance. Duck down and crawl through the hole in the wall on your left. Once you reach the end of the tunnel, turn right and silently eliminate the enemy in the doorway with the Touch of Death.

Head up the stone stairs on the far side. Defeat the Midnight Blades member near the cliff edge, then climb the scaffolding beside the entrance to continue upwards.

Climb onto the wooden platform to the left of the door, then look down to watch the disciples moving around below.

When no one is watching the person right below you, use the Touch of Death to eliminate them. Then, quickly take out the remaining person to secure the area.

With Wind Sense (V), you can spot enemy vision cones. Performing an assassination while the target isn’t directly visible to anyone will keep you hidden.

Turn right and defeat the enemy examining the bookshelves. Then, turn right once more and open the treasure chest. Use the ladder across from the chest to descend into a cave that leads further into the sacred area.

Climb the stairs, and you’ll find a chest behind a wooden fence. Instead of going around, stand close and use the ability Celestial Seize through the openings in the wall to get the treasure.

Okay, so I turned right and climbed up the ladder to get to the next level. Then, I took out the disciple standing up there – it wasn’t pretty, but it had to be done. After that, I walked right to the edge and looked down. It was a long drop!

Turn on Wind Sense, then wait for the person on the other side of the wall to face you. Once they do, use Touch of Death on the enemy directly below to eliminate them immediately.

Enter the narrow passageway behind him to find a ladder leading up again.

Okay, so I climbed up and then jumped over to the railing on the left. From there, I just followed the little path as it curved left, and that took me to the next part of the level.

Turn on Wind Sense and look down. You’ll spot many Midnight Blades disciples on guard. Wait for a moment when no one is watching the guard at the ladder, then use Touch of Death to eliminate him.

Quickly climb the ladder before anyone notices, and head to the next area. Then, turn right and look down – you’ll find another chest there. Use Celestial Seize to open it.

Go back and enter the tunnel straight across from the ladder you climbed. Open the door and go up the stairs on the right. Follow the on-screen marker to the Skill Theft location and press G to activate it.

If you win the Skill Theft minigame, you’ll unlock the Infernal Twinblades, which you can then equip as weapons.

Join the Midnight Blades Sect

Go to Halo Peak in the Sundara Land area of Qinghe and find the Seriously Injured Swordsman resting among some rocks. He’ll tell you he was attacked by the Midnight Blades. Then, follow the bloodstains into the grass to locate Icchantika, a member of the Midnight Blades Sect.

Okay, so I just talked to Icchitanka and when he asked, I told him my heart was like an Asura Heart. He gave me a White Token after that. Now, to get into the Midnight Blades Sect, I need a ‘bloody token’. Apparently, I just have to get one by killing enemies – it looks like PvP fights count too, which is good to know!

You’ll find a group of enemies in a big, open arena located east of Icchitanka. Defeat them, then return to Icchitanka to become a member of the Midnight Blades Sect.
