How is Priyanka Chopra Supporting Her Husband’s Goals? Nick Jonas’ ‘Supportive’ Wife Does THIS to Help With Broadway Show

In a recent chat on Andy Cohen Live at SiriusXM, Nick Jonas continually praised his “encouraging” wife, Priyanka Chopra. During the interview, they discussed Nick’s latest Broadway production, The Last Five Years. When asked about her role in it, he shared that she has been a constant source of motivation throughout the entire process.

He mentioned that she has been our most enthusiastic supporter throughout this journey,” he said to the interviewer. He praised the actress from Quantico, stating she not only provided constant encouragement but also physically attended and encouraged him, making it seem almost surreal, like a perfect dream situation.

In this production, the musician from the Jonas Brothers group takes on the role of Jamie Wellerstein, an up-and-coming author, while Adrienne Warren portrays Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress. The narrative delves into their relationship over a five-year span, encompassing both triumphs and challenges.

As an ardent admirer, let me share this: “In the tale I’m deeply immersed in, a dedicated actress and her talented novelist partner portray their tumultuous love story, tearing down its intricate pieces.” This narrative unfolds from Jason Robert Brown’s self-titled musical, making its grand debut on Broadway. Nick and Adrienne grace the stage as the protagonists in this groundbreaking adaptation for the first time.

The artist additionally shared that he has an exceptional collaborator in his wife when it comes to brainstorming and rehearsing scenes. He explained, “It’s more like exchanging ideas rather than formal notes.” He continued, “We discuss and work on different scenarios for that part, and I can imagine countless instances where I didn’t have this partnership.” – The Close singer concluded.

Reflecting on it, he thought it would’ve been challenging without the collaboration with Chopra, given how much of his work he often brings home. Yet, he feels thankful for having a partner to divide the load and brainstorm together.

The pair shared multiple chance encounters, one of which was at the 2017 Met Gala, yet didn’t begin an official relationship until 2018. That very year, they got married in a lavish Indian wedding following a short engagement. In January 2022, their daughter Malti Marie entered the world through a surrogate mother.
