On July 22nd, the young prince turned eleven and celebrated his birthday in a grand manner. In an exclusive conversation on A Right Royal Podcast, Anderson, who oversaw the ceremony and announcement of George’s birth, shared behind-the-scenes stories about the special day.

For the first time as a communications professional, she represented the royals from behind the scenes. However, this experience brought her to the limelight, and she felt privileged to make the historic announcement of Prince George’s birth at the palace gates, sharing her feelings, Anderson expressed, “I was deeply honored to stand at the famous forecourt of Buckingham Palace and share the news of Prince George’s arrival with the world.”

Nevertheless, being right in the thick of things was just as nerve-wracking as it was thrilling for Anderson. She remembered the crowd lining up at Green Park to catch a glimpse of the notice. “It showcased the monarchy at its finest,” she commented, “and this time around, the grandeur and tradition, that’s what we excel in.”

The morning began with frenetic activity and concluded with a joyous occasion! “Perhaps a toast was made with a glass of champagne following the news, but I’m unable to confirm that,” she remarked coyly.
