She referred to this person, whom she dated before her success as Charlotte York in the iconic 90s series, as an “actor who had fallen out of work.

Back in the day, as I was starring on Melrose Place, there was this man – allegedly a big-time actor today – that I used to hang out with. Amidst my scenes and takes, he’d be grappling with bills from various companies, warning him they might cut off his power.

She additionally disclosed that he had “damaged” the motorcycle he utilized for auditions. On her podcast, Davis admitted, “I said something like, ‘Can I offer you some funds?’ That was a terrible decision,” she shared. As a caring partner, Davis wished to aid her “gifted” boyfriend because she could. “I believe it was around $5,000 – quite a substantial sum of money,” she disclosed.

Nevertheless, the Emmy-nominated individual confessed that receiving money from him had drastically altered their relationship. Although her generous act was well-intentioned, he abruptly ceased contacting her. In reaction, she decided to visit his residence and began pounding on his door.

She recalled listening to his barking dog beyond the door, a pet she adored, and guessed that the gentleman must have been feigning absence. Subsequently, the actor phoned her to verify if she had dropped by his residence.

She admitted, “Indeed, it resonated with me.” She then confided that she had been ashamed, much like feeling untidy, and added that if someone had acknowledged her kind act back then, it would have meant a lot to her. Davis revealed this sentiment.
