Hooded Horse, a publisher known for strategy games, has added a new title to its lineup: Fogpiercer. This roguelite deckbuilding game challenges players to improve and defend a train as it travels through risky landscapes, faces robberies, and overcomes other dangers. Created by Mad Cookies Studio, Fogpiercer is scheduled to launch in Early Access on PC in 2026.
In Fogpiercer, your deck of cards is built around your train. The carriages and upgrades you add to the train determine the cards you have available. Battles happen on a grid, turn by turn, letting you maneuver enemies so they get hit by your train or target foes as they come near.
Like many games of its type, Fogpiercer has a world map with choices that lead to different challenges and happenings. Even if you don’t finish a playthrough, you’ll still make progress by unlocking upgrades and rewards.
Before players can experience Fogpiercer, Hooded Horse and Amplitude Studios will release Endless Legend 2 into Early Access.
