Maximize March 7th’s potential in Honkai: Star Rail with the optimal build for her Trailblaze Path. This 5-star character, following The Remembrance, uses Ice damage and excels as a secondary damage dealer (DPS) who relies on her Memosprite and HP to deal damage.
Evernight’s Skill, Day Gently Slips, uses some of her health to summon her companion, Evey, and boost the critical damage of all Memosprites on the team. The amount of the boost is tied to Evernight’s own critical damage and how many Remembrance characters are in the party. If Evey is already out, the Skill will heal her instead. Using this Skill also gives Evernight 2 Memoria, or 12 if she’s in her Darkest Riddle state.
Evernight can activate her special state, Darkest Riddle, by using her Ultimate ability, O Wakeful World, Goodnight. This ability also summons Evey and deals Ice damage to all enemies, with the damage amount based on Evernight’s maximum HP. While in Darkest Riddle, both Evernight and Evey deal more damage and can’t be affected by crowd control effects. Evernight builds up two Darkest Riddle Charges that Evey can use.
Evey can use a Darkest Riddle Charge to activate a special skill if Evernight has at least 16 Memoria. This skill deals Ice damage based on Evernight’s maximum HP. Using the charge consumes all of Evernight’s Memoria, increasing the Ice damage dealt, and then Evey is destroyed. The team also gains back one Skill Point.
When Evey vanishes, Evernight’s Speed increases until Evey’s next turn. If Evey destroys herself, Evernight’s Speed gets an even bigger boost, depending on how much Memoria she used. Evey can’t be slowed or otherwise controlled by enemy effects, and enemies are more likely to target her. While Evey is in battle, both she and Evernight deal more damage. Evey’s normal attack deals Ice damage to the enemy Evernight last attacked, with the damage increasing based on Evey’s maximum health. For every four Memoria Evernight holds, this attack deals even more damage.
Evernight gains Memoria when she uses her Skill and any allied Memosprite uses an ability.
Unlocking Evernight’s Eidolons – gained by getting multiple copies of her – grants these benefits:
Level | Effects |

– Evernight immediately regains a third of the consumed Memoria when Evey self-destructs. |
Honkai: Star Rail – Evernight: best Light Cones
To maximize Evernight’s damage and support capabilities, focus on increasing her Max HP and CRIT DMG. Her Light Cone, ‘To Evernight’s Stars,’ is excellent for this, providing a significant HP boost and increasing damage for both Evernight and her Memosprite. It also helps recharge her Energy whenever her Memosprite disappears – something that happens often. Plus, when the Memosprite uses an ability, Evernight gains Noctis, which lets all team Memosprites partially bypass enemy defense.

- To Evernight’s Stars (5-Star)
- Make Farewells More Beautiful (5-Star)
- The Flower Remembers (4-Star)
- Sweat Now, Cry Less (4-Star)
- Victory In a Blink (4-Star)
Honkai: Star Rail – Evernight: best Relics
When building Evernight, focus on HP, CRIT Damage, and especially CRIT Rate. Speed isn’t essential, as her support’s speed is independent of her own. While you *can* build Speed as a secondary stat to enhance her buff when she’s off-field, you could also prioritize Break Effect for more damage or Defense to help her survive. She’s flexible with that final stat, so choose what best suits your needs.

- World-Remaking Deliverer (4) – +8% CRIT Rate, +24% Max HP for the wearer and their Memosprite and +15% DMG for all allies after the wearer uses Basic Attack or Skill while their Memosprite is on the field.
- Longevous Disciple (4) – +12% Max HP, +8% CRIT Rate for two turns when the wearer is hit or has their HP consumed by an ally or themselves (stacks up to two times).

- [Personal DPS in full Remembrance team] Arcadia of Woven Dreams (2) – +9%/12% DMG for the wearer and their Memosprite (stacking up to 4/3 times) for each additional/missing target, if there are currently more or less than four ally targets in battle.

Honkai: Star Rail – Evernight: best teams
Evernight is particularly effective when used with Remembrance teams, especially because of how well she works with Memosprites. This advantage is even greater for characters whose abilities depend on their HP.
- Castorice (Main DPS), Evernight (Sub DPS), Trailblazer (Remembrance) (Support), Hyacine (Support)
This team focuses on maximizing Evernight’s potential. Four characters are from the Remembrance path, and three of them use abilities linked to their HP. This setup allows Evernight to quickly build up Memoria. Castorice and Hyacine both benefit from Evernight’s HP-based skills, including her self-damage, and also gain a boost to their CRIT DMG thanks to Evernight, Netherwing, and Little Ica. Mem and Remembrance Trailblazer further enhance Castorice with their own CRIT Rate and True DMG bonuses.
Aglaea also gains an advantage from Evernight being present, but she doesn’t have any abilities that rely on health points, so you can’t use those to your benefit.
Honkai: Star Rail – Evernight: ascension materials
This guide will show you how to fully level up Evernight and unlock all of her abilities.
To reach level 80, Evernight needs these ascension materials, besides experience points:
- Credits x308,000
- Ethereal Omen x15
- Echoing Wail x15
- Eternal Lament x15
- Sea Siren’s Torn Fin x65
You can obtain Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, and Eternal Lament by defeating enemies both on Amphoreus and within the Simulated Universe. These materials can then be crafted or traded using the Omni-Synthesizer aboard the Astral Express. A reliable way to gather them is through Daily Assignments, providing a consistent source, or as a bonus while collecting Golden Calyxes on Amphoreus.
You get the Sea Siren’s Torn Fin by defeating the Stagnant Shadow, a creature found in the Warbling Shores of Styxia. If you’re looking to earn Credits, the best way is to collect Golden Calyxes, which can be found throughout the galaxy.
Evernight requires the following materials to upgrade her combat abilities and Traces:
- Credits x2,400,000
- Ethereal Omen x28
- Echoing Wail x42
- Eternal Lament x42
- Bija of Consciousness x12
- Seedling of Manas x54
- Flower of Alaya x105
- Daythunder Anamnesis x12
- Tracks of Destiny x8
You can find the materials listed earlier by looking above. Bija of Consciousness, Seedling of Manas, and Flower of Alaya are all available to farm in the Crimson Calyx area of the Strife Ruins on the Amphoreus planet. And, as always, you can combine lower-level materials into higher-level ones using the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express.
Daythunder Anamnesis is a rare item that you can only get from the Echo of War domain (specifically, the Fortress of Dome in Eye of Twilight). Tracks of Destiny, on the other hand, is available during special events, through the Embers Exchange and Nameless Honor systems, or as a reward for earning points in the Simulated Universe.
