Honkai: Star Rail – Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae build and ascension guide

Keep your team safe with the optimal build for Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae in Honkai: Star Rail! This 5-star character, who follows The Preservation path and deals Physical damage, has skills that protect allies and strengthen the whole team.

Permansor Terrae’s ability, Terra Omnibus, designates a chosen ally as their Bondmate and then grants all allies a protective shield that lasts for three turns. The shield’s strength is based on Permansor Terrae’s own attack power, and it can be stacked multiple times for increased protection.

While Permansor Terrae and their Bondmate are in battle, Permansor summons a Souldragon that acts independently, using its own Speed. This Souldragon is considered a summon, but isn’t a Memosprite. When the Souldragon takes its turn, it removes one harmful effect from all allies and gives them a protective shield that gets stronger with Permansor Terrae’s Attack power. Also, the Bondmate’s Attack is boosted by Permansor Terrae’s Attack. Every time the Bondmate attacks, Permansor Terrae gains Energy, and the Souldragon gets closer to its next turn.

Permansor Terrae’s Ultimate ability, A Dragon’s Zenith Knows No Rue, damages all enemies with Physical damage based on Permansor Terrae’s Attack stat and grants all allies a shield that stacks, also based on his Attack. Additionally, Souldragon becomes empowered, launching a follow-up attack on its turn that deals Physical damage to all enemies, using Permansor Terrae’s Attack, and extra damage of the Bondmate’s damage type, based on the Bondmate’s Attack. This empowered state lasts for two turns.

Okay, so I’m really excited about Permansor Terrae’s Eidolons! You unlock them by getting duplicate copies of him, and here’s what they actually *do*:

Level Effects
1 – Using Ultimate recovers one Skill Point for the team and increases Bondmate’s All-Type RES PEN temporarily.
2 – Increases Souldragon’s enhancement duration to four actions.

– Using Ultimate causes Souldragon’s next action to be advanced forward by 100%.

– Increases Additional DMG dealt and shield provided by enhanced Souldragon.

3 – Increases Ultimate level by 2, up to a maximum of 15.

– Increases Basic Attack level by 1, up to a maximum of 10.

4 – Reduces DMG taken by Bondmate.
5 – Increases Skill level by 2, up to a maximum of 15.

– Increases Talent level by 2, up to a maximum of 15.

6 – Increases DMG taken by all enemies when Bondmate is on the field.

– Bondmate’s DMG partially ignores enemy DEF.

– Using Ultimate causes Bondmate to deal Additional DMG based on their own DMG Type and ATK.

HSR – Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae: best Light Cones

Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae benefits greatly from a Light Cone that significantly increases his ATK, and his signature Light Cone, Though Worlds Apart, does exactly that. Beyond the ATK boost, it also heals all allies whenever he uses his Ultimate, based on his ATK stat. Plus, it gives all allies the Redoubt buff, which increases their damage – and this buff is even stronger if they’re controlling summons.

Permansor Terrae doesn’t have a lot of great Light Cone options, as most Light Cones designed for his Path prioritize Defense. If you’re struggling to find a good fit, you can use a Light Cone from a different Path that boosts Attack. Even though the Light Cone’s special effect won’t work with him, the base stats will still apply.

Best Light Cones for Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae in HSR:

  • Though Worlds Apart (5-Star)
  • Journey, Forever Peaceful (4-Star)
  • We Are Wildfire (4-Star)
  • Landau’s Choice (4-Star)

HSR – Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae: best Relics

When building Permansor Terrae, focus on Attack (ATK) first and foremost. Speed (SPD) and Energy Regeneration are also very important, as they allow him to activate his abilities quickly and use his powerful Ultimate frequently, which significantly strengthens his summoned Souldragon.

CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are solid fillers to maximize his own damage output.

Best Relic Sets for Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae in HSR:

  • Self-Enshrouded Recluse (4) – +10% Shield Effect; +12% Shield Effect, +15% CRIT DMG for all allies protected by the wearer’s shield.

Best Planar Ornaments for Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae in HSR:

  • Lushaka, the Sunken Seas (2) – +5% Energy Regeneration, +12% ATK for the first character in the team’s line-up if the wearer is not in the first position.

HSR – Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae: best teams

Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae is a strong defender who also offers some team support through buffs. He’s flexible, but works best in teams focused on dealing damage with ATK.

  • Feixiao (Main DPS), March 7th (Hunt) (Sub DPS), Topaz (Sub DPS), Permansor Terrae (Support)

Okay, so for my team, I think Feixiao would be a perfect match with Permansor Terrae – the extra attack power really helps. Plus, with Souldragon’s Follow-Up Attack, I’ve got some awesome synergy going between Feixiao, March 7th (Hunt), and Topaz. It just all clicks together!

  • Jing Yuan (Main DPS), Sunday (Support), Robin (Support), Permansor Terrae (Support)

Permansor Terrae pairs well with Jing Yuan, particularly if you equip Permansor Terrae’s special Light Cone. With that Light Cone, Jing Yuan benefits from both the increased attack power from Permansor Terrae and the weapon’s unique Redoubt effect. Adding Sunday and Robin to the team further boosts Jing Yuan’s overall strength.

  • Anaxa (Main DPS), Trailblazer (Remembrance) (Support), Cerydra (Support), Permansor Terrae (Support)

Okay, so my team setup is pretty straightforward. I run Anaxa as my main damage dealer, and everyone else is there to boost her. Trailblazer (Remembrance) lets her deal true damage, Cerydra gives her extra attack power with Military Merit, and Permansor Terrae basically just supercharges her with their Bondmate ability. It’s all about maximizing Anaxa’s damage output!

HSR – Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae: ascension materials

This guide covers everything you need to fully level up Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae, including maximizing all of his talents.

Okay, so if I want to max Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae out to level 80, besides all the XP, here’s what I need to farm for his ascension. It’s a bit of a list, but totally worth it to make him super strong!

  • Credits x308,000
  • Fear-Stomped Flesh x15
  • Courage-Torn Chest x15
  • Glory-Aspersed Torso x15
  • Invasive Clot x65

You can obtain Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chests, and Glory-Aspersed Torsos from enemies both on the planet Amphoreus and within the Simulated Universe. These can also be crafted or traded using the Omni-Synthesizer aboard the Astral Express. Fear-Stomped Flesh is particularly easy to collect through Daily Assignments, providing a consistent supply. Invasive Clots can be obtained by defeating the Stagnant Shadow in Styxia or Dragonbone City, or by exchanging other rare materials. Finally, you can find Golden Calyxes throughout the cosmos as a great way to earn Credits.

To improve Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae’s skills and Traces, you’ll need to gather these materials.

  • Credits x3,000,000
  • Fear-Stomped Flesh x41
  • Courage-Torn Chest x56
  • Glory-Aspersed Torso x58
  • Scattered Stardust x18
  • Crystal Meteorites x69
  • Divine Amber x139
  • Daythunder Anamnesis x12

Like with other materials, you can upgrade lower-level versions using the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express, or use Tears of Dreams as an alternative.

Okay, so as a Genshin player, getting these boss materials is always a pain! Past Evils of the Borehole Planet Disaster, you can *only* get from the Echo of War domain – specifically, the Eye of Twilight and Fortress of Dome challenges. But Tracks of Destiny is a little easier to farm; they pop up during special events, you can buy them with Embers, get them from the Nameless Honor system, or even earn them by playing the Simulated Universe. It’s nice to have a few different ways to get those!
