Honkai: Star Rail – Cerydra build and ascension guide

Employ the optimal strategy using the top-tier Cerydra build from Honkai: Star Rail, and ensure your adversaries suffer a crushing defeat. Okhema’s strategic Imperator, who is an adherent of The Harmony, primarily inflicts Wind damage but excels in boosting one of her comrades’ abilities instead.

1 Method of Restating: In Cerydra’s Ability, Pawn’s Advancement, the chosen ally is granted the Military Honor title and also adds a Charge point to Cerydra. The Military Honor confers Attack power depending on Cerydra’s Attack, allowing the character to replenish her Charge by using Basic Attacks or Abilities. Furthermore, Cerydra’s Skill, Ave Imperator, lets her inflict Extra Wind Damage based on her Attack to enemies who are under the Military Honor by the character. This can occur up to 20 times, until either Cerydra uses her Ultimate or transfers Military Honor to a different ally, at which point the count resets. Only one ally can have Military Honor active at any given time.

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve got to say, Cerydra is quite the powerhouse! It can amass up to eight units of Charge. Once it hits six, my character earns a Peerage upgrade, shedding off any crowd control debuffs on my chosen ally. The ally with Peerage maintains all Military Merit perks, but gets an extra boost – their Critical Damage and All-Type Resistance Penetration increase significantly when they use their Skill. On top of that, they can unleash a Coup de Main, which dips six Charge points and demotes Peerage back to Military Merit. But

In simpler terms, when Cerydra uses her Ultimate move, Scholar’s Mate, she recovers 2 energy points and inflicts Wind damage proportional to her attack power on all opponents. If no one in the party has Military Merit, Cerydra will grant it to the first character in the party automatically.

Upon increasing her presence, Cerydra amplifies her own damage output and also enhances both her SPD and that of an ally who possesses Military Merit.

Obtaining duplicates of Cerydra increases her Eidolon Level and unlocks additional buffs:

Level Effects
1 – The target of Military Merit partially ignores enemy DEF when dealing damage; this effect is upgraded when Military Merit is upgraded to Peerage.

– The target of Military Merit regenerates some Energy when Cerydra uses her Skill.

2 – The target of Military Merit deals increased damage.

– Cerydra deals increased damage while an ally with Military Merit is on the field.

3 – +2 Skill Level, up to a maximum of 15.

– +1 Basic Attack Level, up to a maximum of 10.

4 – Cerydra’s Ultimate deals additional damage.
5 – +2 Ultimate Level, up to a maximum of 15.

– +2 Talent Level, up to a maximum of 15.

6 – The target of Military Merit increases their All-Type RES PEN.

– Cerydra’s Additional Wind DMG deals more damage.

– Cerydra increases her All-Type RES PEN while an ally with Military Merit is on the field.

Honkai: Star Rail – Cerydra: best Light Cones

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but appreciate Cerydra’s unique charm, particularly her focus on ATK and the spectacular Light Cone, Epoch Etched in Golden Blood, which truly delivers on power. Furthermore, this character stands out by granting a Skill Point to the team when they unleash their Ultimate. But wait, there’s more! When Cerydra uses her skill on an ally, their Skill Damage is amplified for a remarkable three turns. Indeed, she seems tailor-made for the strategic Chessmaster Monarch.

Best Light Cones for Cerydra in HSR:

  • Epoch Etched in Golden Blood (5-Star)
  • Flowing Nightglow (5-Star)
  • A Grounded Ascent (5-Star)
  • The Forever Victual (4-Star)
  • For Tomorrow’s Journey (4-Star)

Honkai: Star Rail – Cerydra: best Relics

For Cerydra’s stats, ATK should be at the forefront, alongside SPD and Critical Damage (Crit DMG). A high ATK helps her apply buffs early and maintain pace with the main DPS characters. A substantial increase in Crit DMG enhances Cerydra’s own damage. Fortunately, Cerydra doesn’t require additional Crit Rate because one of her Trace sets automatically sets it to 100%.

If you find yourself not receiving your Ultimate ability frequently enough to reset Cerydra’s Extra Wind Damage attacks, it might be beneficial for you to obtain a Link Rope with Energy Regeneration as its primary stat. Effect Resistance or additional Health points can serve as excellent supplementary attributes to boost Cerydra’s durability on the battlefield.

Best Relic Sets for Cerydra in HSR:

  • Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal (4) – +6% SPD, +18% CRIT DMG for two turns (stacks up to two times) for the allied target of the character’s Skill or Ultimate.

Best Planar Ornaments for Cerydra in HSR:

  • Lushaka, the Sunken Seas (2) – +5% Energy Regeneration, +12% ATK for the first character in the team’s line-up if the wearer is not in the first position.

Honkai: Star Rail – Cerydra: best teams

Cerydra shines particularly well when backing characters who primarily use Attack power and Skill Damage to combat their adversaries.

  • Phainon (Main DPS), Cerydra (Support), Sunday (Support), Huohuo (Support)

In Khaslana form, Phainon gains significantly from Cerydra’s presence because the majority of his damage is considered Skill Damage. It’s advantageous to have Sunday, Bronya, or Sparkle in the second Support slot as their abilities to control turn order are crucial for increasing Charge on Cerydra, which subsequently upgrades Military Merit to Peerage, benefiting Phainon. Huohuo is an excellent choice as a healer in this composition due to her ability to provide additional Energy and Attack.

In simpler terms, Cerydra works great as a support for Anaxa, who serves as the primary DPS (Damage Per Second). For a more authentic story-based setup, you can pair her with Hysilens and another character who deals damage over time (DoT). However, a triple DoT composition is stronger in this case.
