I was really sorry to hear that Daniel Stern, best known as the bumbling burglar Marv from “Home Alone,” had a health scare at his house last week and had to be hospitalized. Thankfully, reports suggest he’s doing okay, but it was definitely a worrying moment for fans.
According to TMZ, the 68-year-old was taken to the emergency room after firefighters responded to a call in Somis, California.
We don’t know exactly what’s wrong, but firefighters checked out Stern before taking him to the hospital.
A representative later confirmed that he has been released and is now recovering well.
Joe Stern is best known for playing Marv Murchins, one of the silly criminals—the ‘Wet Bandits’—in the popular Christmas movies.
“He has been released from the hospital and is doing well,” a spokesperson told TMZ.
