Where to use the simple key – HK: Silksong

At present, we’ve identified two doors that can be opened with ordinary keys, but it’s frustrating because the Bone Bottom vendor only offers a single key, and unfortunately, this particular key can only be used once.

Mosshold Simple Key door

Journey westward from Mosshold towards the area marked by hanging cages above a colossal chasm known as Bone Bottom. It’s advisable to descend and activate the lift in case of a fall, especially if you possess the Swift Step or Drifter’s Cloak to traverse over – or, if you’re up for a challenge, you can attempt a Dive Strike on the insects below to leap across, but this method may require multiple attempts.

Move towards that spot, where you’ll encounter a sizable insect emitting acid at you. Utilize the small platforms for cover as you maneuver through the room – don’t focus on vanquishing it just yet. Exit the room via the western exit, and you’ll be confronted by a door. Additionally, there’s a Mask Piece hidden behind breakable wall debris if you descend into the water below.

Accessing it unveils an entrypoint to the one-of-a-kind Wormway region, where hidden treasures await discovery. However, you’ll require skills such as wall jumping to unearth all its hidden secrets.

Deep Docks Simple Key door

In the room located in the Deep Docks and containing both the Forge Daughter and the Bench, if you follow the path you previously battled through an enemy gauntlet towards the bottom, you’ll discover a door labeled ‘Simple Key’. Open this door, and it will guide you along a narrow path to obtain the ‘Flintslate Tool’, which allows you to briefly set your weapon ablaze, inflicting flame damage upon enemies when struck.
