Netflix has dropped the first trailer for its new mystery thriller, His & Hers, which will start streaming on January 8, 2026. The series is based on Alice Feeney’s popular 2020 novel of the same title.
Tessa Thompson plays Anna, a news anchor, and Jon Bernthal is Detective Jack Harper in this new series. They team up to solve a murder, but their investigation soon creates conflict between them. The trailer shows Jack claiming his innocence, while Anna’s voiceover suggests someone isn’t telling the whole truth. As she says, “There’s always more than one side to the story. Someone has to be lying.”

The show features Pablo Schreiber as Richard, Crystal Fox as Anna’s mother, Alice, Sunita Mani as Priya, and Rebecca Rittenhouse as Lexy. In addition to starring in the series, Thompson is also an executive producer. The main actors were announced in September 2024, and those playing recurring roles were revealed the next month.
Filming for the series began in Atlanta, Georgia on September 24, 2024, and lasted through December. The show will have a small number of episodes, all leading to a thrilling finale.
