Similarly to a devoted spouse, Matthew Koma stands by his wife Hilary Duff, not shying away from criticizing her critics. He retaliated sharply against a disapproving comment she received following a recent social media post, by posting a pointed response of his own.

On the 15th of April, I shared three captivating shots on my Instagram, showcasing myself in a striking yellow ensemble that turned heads. I paired this look with my naturally wavy tresses and a makeup style that was impeccable to perfection. The post garnered plenty of praise from my followers, but there were also some constructive criticisms mixed in.

A comment that read, “Why did she get Botox? I swear everyone else looks the same,” caught Koma’s attention and he chose to respond to this critic in a unique manner. The musician countered with, “get blocked, butterfly,” which appears to be a play on words referencing the troll’s username.

As a dedicated follower, I’ve noticed that the actress has remained cryptic about whether she’s had Botox injections. According to People magazine, she hasn’t confirmed or denied it. In an interview back in 2022 for Women’s Health, she opened up about cosmetic treatments and maintaining her mental well-being.

She expressed, “We put in a lot of effort to sculpt our bodies as beautifully as possible and enhance our appearances with treatments like facials, Botox, hair styling, highlights, eyebrow and eyelash lifts, among others. However, what truly matters is focusing on improving ourselves from within.

Back in 2013, when I was working on the set of Breath In. Breath Out., it was there that my paths crossed with Duff and Koma. It wasn’t until 2017, however, that our relationship sparked, according to People magazine. Over the years since then, we’ve had our ups and downs, but have continued to date on and off.

In 2019, the pair officially got married, and they are parents to three children: Banks Violet, Mae James, and Townes. Besides these, they also have a son named Luca Cruz with Duff’s former partner, Mike Comrie.
