I’m so excited for Duff’s new album, Luck… or Something, which comes out February 20th! She’s been away from music for over a decade, but she recently told Stephanie McNeal at Glamour that she just felt the time was right to come back. And from what I’ve heard in the early singles, like “Mature” and “Roommates,” it sounds like a really personal record. She’s really digging into what it means to be an adult and how she’s grown as a person. She even shared with Glamour that she’s learned you can only focus on what you can control in your own life, and that really seems to be a theme throughout the album, inspired by her family and experiences.
Along with the new album, Duff is also launching her first large-scale headlining tour in almost twenty years. Called the “Lucky Me Tour,” it begins in June and includes famous locations like Madison Square Garden. Fans are excited to experience her updated, more daring pop style live in concert.
Life at home is a beautiful chaos with my four kids, especially little Townes! It’s definitely a challenge balancing everything, but honestly, it’s incredibly fulfilling. I really try to make my kids the center of our world, you know? My career is important, but it always comes second to family – it fits around our life, not the other way around.
