Heroes of Valor is basically Battlefield Heroes and comes to Early Access in June 2025

Have you recalled the game called Battlefield Heroes? Did it instantly trigger the cheerful whistling version of the Battlefield theme in your mind after reading its name? Well, if you’re yearning for a bit of nostalgia, there might be a new cartoon-style shooter to satisfy that longing: Heroes of Valor is planned for PC release via Early Access on June 12, 2025, and it bears striking resemblance to Battlefield Heroes, from similar UI elements. In fact, it’s quite reminiscent!

Involving characters reminiscent of cartoons, this multiplayer game is produced by Fancy Cat Interactive and distributed by Iceberg Interactive. It features Axis and Allies factions battling it out, both on land and sky, armed with various weaponry and vehicles.

Much like its main influence – generosity – it showcases a tiered character system based on classes. Players have the freedom to select from four distinct roles: Recon (stealthy infiltrator or marksman), Trooper (versatile combatant), Heavy (well-armed defender), and Engineer (specializing in vehicles). Each role brings forth unique abilities, weapons, and gameplay styles.

During its Early Access debut, you’ll find an assortment of aircraft, tanks, and motorcycles as playable vehicles. It also provides multiple game modes like Conquest and Team on the Hill. For those who wish, they can customize their server environments with adjustable rulesets, map rotations, time settings, and more. To ensure enjoyable gaming sessions with friends, the game includes AI bots to fill any empty spots.

Just like Battlefield Heroes, Heroes of Valor offers a fun assortment of whacky outfits and personalization choices for your characters.

Heroes of Valor appears to be an affectionate tribute to the 2009 cartoon-style shooter, with its catchy main melody standing out – however, the question remains if it can hold its ground for longer? The Early Access launch will serve as the initial trial in this regard.
