Fans of Heroes of Might and Magic have both good and bad news regarding the new game, Olden Era. The Early Access launch has been pushed back to 2026, but a free demo is currently available on Steam for PC players to try right now.
The demo lets you try out Classic, Single Hero, and Arena modes with four different factions, giving you a preview of what to expect when the full Early Access version launches.
Olden Era aims to recapture the magic of a beloved classic tactical RPG series, offering a game that’s both familiar and easy to pick up. It features multiple ways to play, designed to appeal to a wide range of gamers. Developed by the team behind Iratus and published by Ubisoft and strategy game specialists Hooded Horse, the game has already generated significant excitement, with over 800,000 wishlists on Steam.
