Mindy Kaling, famously recognized for her part in The Office, has expressed her appreciation for Meghan Markle’s culinary skills. In a chat held during the Golden Globes event on the red carpet, this actress disclosed that she had the pleasure of visiting the Duchess of Sussex in Montecito.
She explained, “During my maternity break, Meghan messaged me asking, ‘Would you like to join my production and visit Montecito while I prepare a meal for you?’ To which I replied enthusiastically, ‘That sounds ideal!’
Mindy Kaling was quite impressed by Meghan’s culinary abilities. She admitted, “I consider myself as average in cooking, but she effortlessly surpassed me. Her recipes and presence made the whole experience incredibly approachable,” she commented further.
In addition, Kaling praised Meghan’s beautiful garden and her pet chickens, playfully suggesting that managing them might be a challenge for her personally.
In the heart of the kitchen, Meghan stood prominently, while Kaling added her thoughts on Prince Harry’s culinary abilities. “Harry was present, but he didn’t whip up a meal for me. However, I’ve heard that he’s quite competent in the kitchen. He’s familiar with its layout,” she mentioned.
Kaling is among the distinguished guests for Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series titled “With Love, Meghan.” The show, set to debut on January 15, strives to redefine the lifestyle genre with its eight half-hour episodes. In addition to Kaling, notable figures like chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters are also guests on the show.
After taking a break for four years, Meghan Markle unveiled her new series via Instagram, complete with a heartfelt message. She posted a monochrome video of herself on a picturesque beach and accompanied it with a sneak peek, saying “I believe you’ll enjoy the show just as much as I enjoyed creating it.
