I’m really enjoying Peacock – there’s so much to watch! They have everything from popular older shows and movies to brand new, original thrillers. This weekend, I’m planning to dive into some gripping true crime documentaries and revisit some of my favorite procedural dramas. It’s great being able to binge-watch entire seasons of classic shows, or check out their newest limited series. Honestly, whether you’re into spooky supernatural stories or reality TV, Peacock has something for everyone – I always find something I like!
‘Supernatural’ (2005–2020)

The show ‘Supernatural’ centers on brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, who travel across the U.S. hunting ghosts, demons, and other supernatural creatures. After fifteen seasons, the popular series delves into the bonds of family and the idea of fate. It became available on the platform in late December, giving subscribers access to all fifteen seasons. Now, fans can rewatch or discover the Winchesters’ entire story.
‘The Copenhagen Test’ (2025)

Simu Liu stars in ‘The Copenhagen Test,’ a thrilling new series full of international mystery and suspense. Released in late December on a streaming service, the show aims to captivate audiences with its intricate plots and high-stakes action unfolding across the globe. It’s a major new addition to the streaming service’s original programs this year.
‘Accident, Suicide or Murder’ (2019–2026)

‘Accident, Suicide or Murder’ is a true crime documentary series that examines deaths originally ruled as something other than what they actually were. Each episode carefully explores the legal and forensic evidence that ultimately revealed the truth behind a person’s death. The series premiered on New Year’s Day, offering viewers compelling and in-depth investigative stories. It highlights the challenges within the justice system and the dedication of those who investigate these cases.
‘Chrisley Knows Best’ (2014–2026)

‘Chrisley Knows Best’ is a reality show that follows the wealthy Chrisley family and their everyday lives. For years, the show has been popular with viewers because it’s both funny and dramatic, showing how the family interacts. It started streaming in January to give subscribers more options for reality TV. The show continues to be a fan favorite because it combines relatable family moments with a look at a luxurious lifestyle.
‘Ted’ (2024–2026)

The show ‘Ted’ is a prequel to the ‘Ted’ movies, with Seth MacFarlane voicing the foul-mouthed teddy bear. Set in the early 1990s, it tells the story of Ted and a teenage John Bennett. Since it premiered, ‘Ted’ has become one of the streaming service’s most popular original comedies, combining adult jokes with a nostalgic look at growing up.
‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ (1999–2026)

As a long-time viewer, I can confidently say ‘Law & Order: SVU’ still absolutely nails the police procedural. For over twenty years, this show has delivered compelling stories about the toughest crimes, handled by a dedicated team in New York City. Captain Olivia Benson is the heart of it all, navigating incredibly difficult cases and her own personal struggles while fighting for victims. It’s no surprise it consistently ranks among the most-watched shows – there’s a huge back catalog to dive into, and it really has become a cultural touchstone. It’s a reliable and powerful watch.
‘Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy’ (2025)

“Devil in Disguise” is a limited series drama based on the disturbing crimes of a famous criminal. It recently became very popular, attracting a large audience as a true crime retelling. The show focuses on how the crimes were investigated and the effect they had on the local community. It’s part of a rising wave of well-made crime dramas created for streaming viewers.
‘Poker Face’ (2023–2026)

In ‘Poker Face,’ Natasha Lyonne plays Charlie Cale, a woman with a remarkable talent for spotting lies. The series, created by Rian Johnson, follows a ‘case of the week’ structure as Charlie travels the country solving murders. It’s been highly praised by critics and is a must-watch for mystery fans. The show takes a fresh approach to the traditional detective format with its clever central idea.
‘Chicago Fire’ (2012–2026)

As a TV reviewer, I have to say ‘Chicago Fire’ really pulls you in. It’s a show that gives you a real sense of what it’s like to be a firefighter or paramedic working at Firehouse 51 in Chicago. What I appreciate most is how it balances thrilling, high-stakes action with genuinely moving stories about the characters and their lives. Plus, the quick availability of new episodes on streaming keeps me – and clearly a lot of other viewers – coming back for more. It’s no surprise it’s done so well, especially considering it’s spawned a whole universe of spin-off shows all set in the same world.
‘Days of Our Lives’ (1965–2026)

‘Days of Our Lives’ now streams online instead of on regular television, but it still features all the characters and stories fans love. The show continues to release new episodes every day, following the lives of families in the town of Salem. Its loyal viewers and extensive back catalog of episodes keep the show popular and provide a steady stream of drama for the streaming service.
Please share which of these Peacock series you plan to stream this weekend in the comments.
