This December, streaming services are adding lots of new shows and movies, including both highly awaited premieres and returning favorites. Paramount+ is offering a diverse range of content, from animated kids’ shows and reality TV to suspenseful thrillers. Throughout the month, you can expect both new episodes of popular series and completely original shows. Here’s a look at the top series coming to the service, as well as the shows everyone is already watching.
‘Landman’ (2024)

Set in the rapidly growing oil fields of West Texas, this series follows the lives of oil workers and the newly rich individuals driving a huge boom. Billy Bob Thornton plays a troubleshooter dealing with the challenges of the oil industry. Created by Taylor Sheridan, the show offers a raw look at the energy business and how it affects both the environment and the economy.
‘Tulsa King’ (2022)

After serving twenty-five years in prison, New York mafia leader Dwight Manfredi is released and sent to Tulsa by his boss to start over. There, he aims to build a new criminal organization with a surprising group of allies. Starring Sylvester Stallone in his first scripted TV role, the series follows Dwight as he navigates modern life, balancing the dangers of the law and other criminals with the challenges of establishing his new empire. It’s a blend of serious crime drama and humor.
‘Mayor of Kingstown’ (2021)

In Kingstown, the McLusky family wields significant influence, as the town’s economy largely depends on its many prisons. Mike McLusky works to maintain a delicate balance between the police and local gangs. The series reveals deep-rooted racism and corruption within the criminal justice system. Starring Jeremy Renner, the show follows Mike’s efforts to create order in a chaotic town. The characters constantly face difficult choices and live with the realities of violence and moral gray areas.
‘Little Disasters’ (2025)

This new psychological thriller explores the complicated bonds of female friendship and the challenges of motherhood. Starring Diane Kruger, the story follows a doctor who begins to suspect her friend is endangering her child. As secrets are revealed, the tension mounts, threatening to ruin the lives of all those connected to the case. The series uncovers the hidden darkness beneath the seemingly perfect lives of families in the suburbs.
‘Fargo’ (2014)

Okay, so I’m really excited about this new series. It’s definitely inspired by the Coen brothers’ film – you’ll see the vibe – but it quickly becomes its own thing. It follows a whole new set of characters caught up in lies and secrets, all against these really cool, icy backdrops. What I love is it’s not just straight drama; it’s got this dark, twisted humor, and it really digs into what happens when people make bad choices. Basically, if you’re into those crime shows that tell a different story each season, this one’s for you.
‘Safe’ (2018)

This month, you can find a new thriller starring Michael C. Hall. The story centers on a surgeon whose life is turned upside down when his daughter disappears, leading him to uncover unsettling secrets about his friends and neighbors. Set in a close-knit gated community, the series, created by Harlan Coben, is full of twists and turns, keeping you guessing until the very end.
‘Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ (2024)

This cartoon series connects the recent movie to future adventures. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles deal with new villains in New York City, all while trying to figure out life as teenagers. It builds on the world created in the movie with a unique art style and funny moments, letting fans see the brothers juggle being heroes and growing up.
‘Transformers: EarthSpark’ (2022)

This animated series introduces a new group of Transformers called Terrans, who are actually born on Earth. The story follows how they adjust to life with a human family and get involved in the continuing battle between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. It’s a new take on the classic Transformers story, keeping all the exciting action fans love, and is designed to entertain a new generation.
‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ (2022)

This series brings together moms from past seasons of the show to share what their lives are like now, balancing family and relationships. The show follows these women as they support each other through tough times and personal challenges, offering a close look at their strong connection. Fans of reality TV can stream the latest season to see what these familiar faces have been up to.
‘DORA’ (2024)

The popular children’s show is back with a new, computer-animated look! It follows Dora the Explorer and her monkey friend Boots as they go on adventures. This version is designed to get kids involved by asking them to help solve puzzles and learn new things. It keeps the fun, educational spirit of the original while using updated animation and stories. Kids will love joining Dora and Boots for magical rainforest adventures!
