The film tracks both investigations in parallel, gradually revealing how they intersect.

I’m really excited about this one – it stars Helen Hunt and Jon Tenney, two actors I always enjoy seeing. Plus, the young talent is fantastic with Judah Lewis and Owen Teague taking on some important roles. It’s all brought to life by director Adam Randall, working from a script penned by Devon Graye.

‘Breaking In’ (2018)

‘Breaking In’ tells the story of a mother who, while staying at a secluded house with her children, must cleverly use the home’s advanced security features to defend against a group of home invaders. The movie takes place over a short period of time and primarily shows the tense, strategic game of cat and mouse she plays to keep her family safe.

Gabrielle Union leads the cast, alongside Ajiona Alexus, Seth Carr, and Billy Burke. James McTeigue is the director, and Will Packer oversaw production. The story comes from Ryan Engle.

‘Nightcrawler’ (2014)

‘Nightcrawler’ tells the story of a determined freelance videographer who hunts for crime scenes in Los Angeles at night. He sells the footage to local news channels, and in his quest for the most sensational content, he repeatedly crosses ethical lines. The film follows his climb to success, showing how he uses ever more dangerous tactics that lead to conflicts with rivals and those in the broadcasting industry.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars with Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton. Dan Gilroy both wrote and directed the movie, centering the story on the fast-paced world of independent video journalists.

‘Grown Ups’ (2010)

‘Grown Ups’ follows five friends from childhood who come back together when their old basketball coach dies. What starts as a memorial weekend quickly turns into fun family activities and classic playful jokes. During this time, the town’s people are targeted by a group of traveling vampires. The story centers on the town’s sheriff and a few other people who managed to survive, and how they try to make it through the long, dark period.

Josh Hartnett and Melissa George star in this film, with Danny Huston playing the powerful head of the vampires. David Slade directed the movie, which is based on the comic book series by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith.

‘Finding Neverland’ (2004)

‘Finding Neverland’ tells the story of how playwright J.M. Barrie became friends with the Llewelyn Davies family, and how that friendship sparked his imagination to create ‘Peter Pan’. The movie goes back and forth between the process of writing the play and Barrie’s personal life, showing the children who gave him the inspiration he needed.

Johnny Depp plays the character of Barrie, and he’s joined by Kate Winslet, Julie Christie, and Dustin Hoffman in supporting roles. The film is directed by Marc Forster, based on a script by David Magee, which itself is an adaptation of Allan Knee’s play, ‘The Man Who Was Peter Pan’.

‘Fight Club’ (1999)

‘Fight Club’ tells the story of an office employee who befriends a captivating soap maker. Together, they start secret fight clubs which evolve into a widespread movement. The film explores themes of identity, hidden motives, and how their relationship intensifies as the club gains momentum and develops a personality of its own.

The film features performances by Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter, with Jared Leto and Meat Loaf appearing in supporting roles. David Fincher directed the movie, which is based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk and adapted for the screen by Jim Uhls.

‘Men in Black’ (1997)

‘Men in Black’ follows two agents from a top-secret group dedicated to watching over alien activity on Earth. I’m so excited about this movie! It stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, and the supporting cast is amazing – Linda Fiorentino, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Rip Torn are all in it. Barry Sonnenfeld is directing, and it’s based on the comic series by Lowell Cunningham. I’ve heard the production design and visual effects are really going to make this film stand out with a totally unique look!

‘Selena’ (1997)

‘Selena’ tells the story of Tejano music icon Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, detailing her journey with her family band – from their early beginnings and concert tours to achieving success in the recording studio. The movie highlights both her professional achievements and personal life, ultimately showing the lasting impact she had on fans. It covers key moments both on and off stage, and how she built her legacy.

Jennifer Lopez plays the role of Selena, and Edward James Olmos portrays her father, Abraham Quintanilla. The film is directed and co-written by Gregory Nava, and features performances of songs from Selena’s music collection.

‘The Fly’ (1986)

‘The Fly’ tells the story of a scientist whose attempt to teleport something goes terribly wrong. The experiment mixes his genetic material with that of a common housefly, causing him to change in frightening ways. As he desperately seeks a solution, the story combines elements of a love story and the tension of a lab setting with the increasingly severe results of the failed experiment.

Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis lead the cast, with John Getz playing a supporting role. David Cronenberg directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Charles Edward Pogue. The story is based on a short story by George Langelaan and a previous film version.
