As a movie lover, I’m really intrigued by ‘Highest 2 Lowest’. The story centers around someone important whose family is used as a pawn in a carefully thought-out ransom plot. And get this – Spike Lee is directing! As a fan, I was really captivated by Jesús Ortiz Paz – he truly led the performance! The arrangements, especially with the requinto, tuba, and bajo sexto, were fantastic. This special was clearly made for streaming, and it did a great job of capturing those awesome call-and-response moments with the audience and the incredible instrumental parts. It really felt like a glimpse of what seeing them live on their 2025 tour would be like – a real snapshot of their whole live production. You can even get a feel for the staging they’re using!

‘Wolfs’ (2024)
