These are some of the most talked-about titles on the service as the year comes to a close.
‘F1’ (2025)

Brad Pitt plays a retired Formula 1 racer who comes back to help a promising young driver, played by Damson Idris. The movie uses real footage from Grand Prix races, making the racing scenes feel incredibly authentic. Director Joseph Kosinski, known for ‘Top Gun: Maverick,’ brings that same exciting, immersive style to the high-speed action. The filmmakers worked closely with the racing world to ensure everything in the movie is technically correct.
‘Highest 2 Lowest’ (2025)

Spike Lee’s new film is a modern take on the classic kidnapping thriller originally created by Akira Kurosawa. Denzel Washington plays a successful businessman forced to make a difficult decision: pay a ransom or risk a child’s life. The movie examines issues of wealth, social class, and the pressures of the corporate world, all set in a bustling city. It’s also a welcome return for Lee and Washington, who have collaborated on many popular and well-regarded films.
‘The Gorge’ (2025)

Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy star in this unique film that blends action with supernatural horror. The story follows two highly skilled snipers positioned on opposing sides of a treacherous canyon. They’re forced to work together when a terrifying new threat appears. Director Scott Derrickson, known for creating suspenseful stories, brings his talents to this original movie.
‘The Lost Bus’ (2025)

This intense survival movie tells the real story of a school bus driver and a teacher who bravely led a group of children to safety during a massive California wildfire. Starring Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera, the film highlights the incredible courage and strength of everyday people facing a natural disaster. Director Paul Greengrass creates a realistic and emotionally powerful experience.
‘The Family Plan’ (2023)

Mark Wahlberg stars as a highly skilled former government assassin who’s left that life behind to sell cars and live a peaceful suburban existence. But his past comes back to haunt him, forcing him to take his family on a seemingly impromptu road trip to Las Vegas. He has to keep them safe from danger while pretending everything is normal and they’re just on vacation. The movie combines typical family moments with thrilling action sequences.
‘Greyhound’ (2020)

Tom Hanks plays a newly appointed captain in charge of an Allied convoy crossing the Atlantic during World War II. He faces the constant threat of German U-boats and the immense pressure of keeping his ships and crew safe. The film is based on a true story and the novel ‘The Good Shepherd’ by C.S. Forester, and it vividly portrays the confined and stressful environment of naval combat at sea.
‘Echo Valley’ (2025)

Julianne Moore plays a mother mourning a loss who lives a solitary life training horses on a Pennsylvania farm. Her world is turned upside down when her daughter, played by Sydney Sweeney, unexpectedly appears, covered in blood. ‘Fountain of Youth’ (2025)

Director Guy Ritchie delivers his trademark fast-paced action in this epic mystery adventure.
‘Wolfs’ (2024)

George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up again, this time as experienced problem-solvers who both get assigned to secretly handle the fallout from a major crime. Though they usually work alone, they’re forced to collaborate, and things quickly become chaotic as they race around the city facing one challenge after another. This funny, fast-paced movie is full of witty banter and shows the rivalry between these two seasoned professionals.
