Here Are All the TV Shows Coming to Peacock, Disney+ & Apple TV+ This Week, Including ‘Mr. Scorsese’

I’m so excited – there’s a ton of new stuff dropping on Peacock, Disney+, and Apple TV+ this week! It’s a really diverse mix, from gripping true crime dramas to fun reality competitions, and even a spooky thriller. Plus, there are some comedies and documentaries I’ve been waiting for. Honestly, whether I’m in the mood for a quick fright, a peek behind the scenes of a great filmmaker’s life, or just a heartwarming story, I know I’ll find something to watch. I’m already planning my watchlist!

Here’s a rundown of each project, including its premise, key cast and crew, and release details for the week of October 13th to 19th.

‘Anatomy of Lies’ (2024– )

This documentary series explores the story of Elisabeth Finch, a former writer for ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ and the controversy surrounding her personal experiences. The series, directed by Evgenia Peretz and David Schisgall, examines how Finch’s claims impacted the show and those around her. It also details the investigation that questioned her story and the consequences that followed. It will be available on Peacock starting Wednesday, October 15th.

The show investigates how the television industry – including its production processes, fact-checking practices, and focus on high-quality programming – allowed the story of Finch to gain traction. Vicki Cooper and Melanie Archer are the producers, and a larger team helps create the show’s unique combination of true-crime storytelling and examination of media ethics.

‘Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy’ (2025– )

This series tells the dramatic story of the investigation into one of America’s most infamous serial killers, focusing on the police work and relentless search that eventually revealed Gacy’s crimes. Created for television by Patrick Macmanus, the show stars Michael Chernus, Gabriel Luna, James Badge Dale, and Michael Angarano as investigators, journalists, and people connected to Gacy. It will debut on Peacock on Thursday, October 16th.

This series pieces together the story of the case by recreating events, sharing interview highlights, and explaining key investigative steps. It uses official documents and interviews with people involved to present different ideas about what happened and how the investigation unfolded. Each episode examines how cooperation between agencies, improvements in forensic science, and public attention ultimately helped solve this incredibly difficult case.

‘Los 50’ (2023– )

Telemundo’s new reality competition brings together 50 celebrities who will compete in physical and mental challenges on a large estate. Overseeing everything is a mysterious host called El León. The show, produced by Endemol Shine Boomdog, is based on a popular French format and features dramatic eliminations and opportunities to win big prizes each round. It premieres on Peacock with new episodes starting Thursday, October 16.

The show challenges players through several rounds where they can either avoid being eliminated or reduce the overall prize money. Shot with multiple cameras, it focuses on strategic partnerships, social maneuvering, and high-stakes choices, making it a cornerstone of Telemundo’s unscripted competition programming.

‘Sed de Venganza’ (2024–2025)

The new series follows Fernanda Ríos, a woman hired by the wealthy Eugenio Beltrán to get revenge on the del Pino family. However, her plans become complicated when she reconnects with Francisco Ramírez, someone from her past who is connected to the situation. Featuring Isabella Castillo, Danilo Carrera, and Alexa Martín, this Telemundo Studios production, developed by Eric Vonn, will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, October 16th.

Inspired by the dramatic twists of traditional telenovelas – think secret identities, long-held grudges, and changing alliances – the show unfolds like a continuing story, revealing how past hurts, business conflicts, and family mysteries connect its main characters. A large cast drives multiple storylines that weave through the worlds of law, business, and personal relationships, constantly fueling the central feud.

‘House of Villains’ (2023– )

Joel McHale hosts this new reality competition where well-known troublemakers from various unscripted shows face off. They’ll compete in challenges, form secret alliances, and vote each other out, all for a chance to win a cash prize and ultimate bragging rights. The series, produced by Irwin Entertainment, brings together memorable villains from shows like ‘The Bachelor,’ ‘Survivor,’ and ‘Bad Girls Club.’ New episodes arrive on Peacock starting Thursday, October 16th.

The show combines exciting events with strategic gameplay. Each week, challenges offer players safety or power, but unexpected turns constantly disrupt alliances and demand quick thinking. Hosted by Jeff McHale and supported by a team experienced in competitive reality TV, the show promises memorable contestants, rivalries between players from different seasons, and plenty of shifting social dynamics.

‘Teacup’ (2024)

As a huge horror fan, I’m really excited about this new series! It’s set in the countryside of Georgia and follows a group of people who find themselves stuck on a secluded farm. Things get seriously creepy when something otherworldly starts to threaten not just the farm, but the whole town. It’s based on a novel called ‘Stinger’ by Robert R. McCammon, and created by Ian McCulloch. Plus, Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman are starring – and with James Wan producing, you *know* it’s going to be good! It’s coming to Peacock on October 17th, and I’ve already marked my calendar.

This eight-episode series is a thrilling ride that blends scary creatures with compelling characters. It builds tension by trapping people in tight spaces, showing unpredictable loyalties, and featuring increasingly intense scenes. Atomic Monster and Universal Content Productions produced the show, with a haunting score by David Wingo and a cast that helps unravel a complex, mysterious storyline.

‘Vampirina: Teenage Vampire’ (2025– )

This new Disney+ series is a live-action take on a popular story, following teen Vee as she starts at a performing arts boarding school. She’s trying to fit in and follow her musical dreams while secretly hiding that she’s a vampire! The show stars Kenzi Richardson, Jiwon Lee, Shaun Dixon, Milo Maharlika, and Faith Hedley as students and staff. You can start streaming it on Wednesday, October 15th.

This show combines the fun of high school comedy with a touch of fantasy. It features typical teenage secrets and family rules, plus a ghostly protector hired by Vee’s very cautious father. Music is central to the story, with original songs and band practice bringing the characters together, causing both problems and helping Vee gain confidence.

‘Loot’ (2022– )

As a comedy fan, I’m really excited about the new season of this show! It’s created by the brilliant minds behind ‘Parks and Recreation,’ Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang. The premise is fantastic: Maya Rudolph plays Molly Wells, a billionaire who’s just gone through a divorce and decides to actually *run* her family’s foundation. It’s hilarious watching her navigate that world. The supporting cast is amazing too – Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as the super-organized Sofia, Joel Kim Booster as Molly’s assistant Nicholas, and the always-funny Ron Funches and Nat Faxon round things out. You might even spot Adam Scott popping up now and then. Season 3 drops on Apple TV+ on October 15th, so mark your calendars!

The show follows Molly’s growth through a blend of love stories, workplace drama, and her efforts to run a foundation – including the challenges of fundraising, navigating donor relationships, and managing public perception. It’s produced by Universal Television, with a team of executive producers including Amy Hubbard, Nick Yang, Natasha Lyonne, and others. Hubbard is also the showrunner for this new season.

‘Mr. Scorsese’ (2025)

As a huge fan of Martin Scorsese, I’m incredibly excited about this new documentary series! It seems like a really comprehensive look at his life and work, built from deep conversations with him, amazing footage we’ve never seen before, and interviews with so many people he’s worked with – like Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, and even Steven Spielberg. Rebecca Miller directed it, and it’s coming to Apple TV+ on October 17th – I’ve already marked my calendar!

The series follows Martin Scorsese’s life and career, from his upbringing in New York and early love of movies to his time considering the priesthood. It also explores how he made his most famous films – like ‘Taxi Driver,’ ‘Goodfellas,’ ‘The Departed,’ and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ – revealing the stories behind their creation and the key relationships that influenced him. Throughout the episodes, it identifies the common ideas in his work, such as faith, guilt, and what it means to be a man, and connects these themes to the experiences that shaped his filmmaking.
