Here Are All the TV Shows Coming to HBO Max This Week, Including ‘The Seduction’

Here’s a guide to new TV shows coming out this week, broken down by day. We’ve included brief descriptions and key people involved in each show to help you choose what to watch first.

‘Homestead Rescue’ (2016– )

I’m really excited for the new season, starting Wednesday, November 12th! The show follows families who are struggling to make it work living off the grid. They call in Marty Raney and his kids – Misty, who’s a farmer, and Matt, a hunter – to help them fix up their homes and get their food, water, and power systems working. Each episode shows them tackling all sorts of problems, from keeping predators away to digging wells and building greenhouses. The narrator does a great job of explaining the challenges they face and how they eventually solve them. It’s been on Discovery for a long time now, and I love seeing how the Raneys’ different skills come together to help these families all across the country.

‘Beat Bobby Flay’ (2013– )

The show premieres on Wednesday, November 12th. Each episode starts with two chefs competing for 20 minutes using a mystery ingredient. The winner then goes head-to-head with Bobby Flay in a 45-minute cook-off, preparing their best dish. Celebrity chefs and food experts introduce the competitors and judge the final creations in a blind taste test to determine the winner. Produced by Rock Shrimp Productions for Food Network, the show highlights Bobby Flay’s skill with different types of food from around the world.

‘Ângela Diniz: Murdered and Convicted’ (2025)

Premiering on Thursday, November 13, this Brazilian drama tells the story of Ângela Diniz, a socialite murdered in 1976, and the controversial trials that followed. The case sparked a national conversation about violence against women and the often-used, but debated, defense of “crimes of passion.” Marjorie Estiano plays Ângela, alongside Emilio Dantas as her boyfriend, Raul “Doca” Street, and Antônio Fagundes as the attorney Evandro Lins e Silva. The series is based on actual court records and news reports from the time, showing how public opinion and legal decisions changed.

‘Body Cam’ (2018– )

Premiering on Thursday, November 13th, this documentary series uses actual police footage – from body cameras and dash cams – to recreate real-life incidents. Officers and witnesses share their perspectives, while J.V. Martin narrates the events, detailing everything from high-speed chases and traffic stops to tense domestic disturbances. Created for Investigation Discovery, each episode highlights the critical decisions officers make under pressure and the investigations that follow.

‘Silly Sundays’ (2023– )

Premiering on Friday, November 14th, this charming animated preschool comedy is created by Nuria González Blanco of Cartoon Saloon. It centers on cousins Sonia, Hugo, and Mel, and their fun-filled weekly family gatherings. Each episode features games, imaginative play, and simple lessons for young viewers. The show uses a bright and easy-to-follow visual style, along with gentle humor and music. It’s already available on preschool blocks like Cartoonito and Max in various countries.

‘The Seduction’ (2025– )

Premiering on Friday, November 14th, this new series is a historical drama based on ‘Les Liaisons Dangereuses.’ It follows Isabelle de Merteuil as she grows up in Paris and learns how to use her intelligence and charm to get what she wants. The show promises a world of aristocratic secrets, power struggles, and romantic intrigue, showcasing how Isabelle develops into a notorious figure known for her cunning and manipulation. Expect a visually stunning period piece filled with lavish costumes and a focus on desire and control.

‘The Last Woodsmen’ (2024– )

Premiering Saturday, November 15th, this documentary series follows logger Jared Douglas and his team as they bravely harvest valuable timber. They use both classic and cutting-edge techniques to fell massive trees in dangerous conditions. Each episode highlights the skill and quick thinking required for tasks like rigging and sawing, all while emphasizing the financial realities and serious risks faced by logging crews working in remote locations.
