Here Are All the TV Shows Coming to Disney+, Paramount+ and Apple TV+ This Week, Including ‘Down Cemetery Road’

Here’s what’s new for the week of October 27th to November 2nd: a collection of stories from the Star Wars universe, a visually stunning anime about a school for villains, a popular sing-along show for young children, the latest season of a reality show set in Atlanta, a brand new true crime documentary series, and a suspenseful thriller set at Oxford University from the author of ‘Slow Horses’.

‘Star Wars: Visions’ (2021– )

Starting October 29th on Disney+, ‘Star Wars: Visions’ is a collection of animated shorts from Lucasfilm. Each short tells its own unique story within the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy, or is inspired by it. Previous installments have included work from highly-regarded studios in Japan and other countries, overseen by executive producers James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, and Josh Rimes. The stories range from classic Jedi and Sith battles to tales inspired by samurai films, fun adventures with droids, and stories rooted in folklore, all with different visual styles. Each short features a different voice cast, and the series is made available in multiple languages for viewers around the world.

‘Disney Twisted Wonderland: The Animation’ (2025)

I’m so excited for ‘Disney Twisted-Wonderland the Animation’ coming to Disney+ on October 29th! It’s based on that super popular mobile game, and it’s wild to think the creator, Yana Toboso, has reimagined all those classic Disney villains as headmasters at a magic school called Night Raven College. The story follows a student who gets pulled into this world and has to deal with all the drama between the different dorms – each one is themed around a different Disney movie like ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ ‘The Lion King,’ and ‘Aladdin’! I’ve heard Yumeta Company and Graphinica are working on the animation, and it sounds like they’re following the game’s storyline pretty closely. Basically, all our favorite characters from the game and manga are coming to life on screen, and I can’t wait!

‘CoComelon JJ’s Animal Time’ (2022– )

Okay, so as a parent who’s seen a lot of kids’ shows, I’m hearing that ‘CoComelon JJ’s Animal Time’ is hitting Hulu this Saturday, November 1st. Basically, it’s another ‘CoComelon’ thing – you know, those super colorful, musical shows for little ones? This one focuses on animals, with JJ learning about them through songs and easy-to-follow stories. It’s designed to be really interactive, getting kids moving and teaching them basic stuff like where animals live and how to care for pets. It’s the kind of show you can definitely watch with your little one, and it’s got that classic ‘CoComelon’ feel – lots of repetition and simple storylines that toddlers seem to love.

‘Don’t Date Brandon’ (2025)

The true-crime docuseries ‘Don’t Date Brandon’ arrives on Paramount+ this Tuesday, October 28th. It tells the story of survival, the bonds of sisterhood, and the deceptive tactics of one man. Through personal stories, evidence, and interviews, the series explores a pattern of abuse and control, highlighting the warning signs of manipulation and how predators can hide in plain sight. It’s part of Paramount+’s 2025 documentary lineup.

‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ (2012– )

The latest season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ premieres October 29th on Paramount+. The show follows the lives of artists, managers, and their families as they work within Atlanta’s vibrant hip-hop scene. Created by Mona Scott-Young, the series combines the excitement of music-making with the personal challenges of relationships, family life, and building a brand. Over the years, the show has featured a large cast, including Rasheeda, Kirk Frost, Karlie Redd, and Mimi Faust. Each episode dives into the world of music, Atlanta culture, and the drama that unfolds both on and off camera.

Down Cemetery Road’ (2025)

A new thriller series, ‘Down Cemetery Road,’ arrives on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, October 29th. Based on Mick Herron’s first novel, the eight-episode show is set in Oxford and follows Sarah Tucker (Ruth Wilson), who becomes fixated on a missing child after an explosion in her neighborhood. She partners with private investigator Zoë Boehm, played by Emma Thompson, to uncover the truth. Morwenna Banks wrote the series, and Natalie Bailey directed it. 60Forty Films produced the show, with Mick Herron serving as an executive producer. Adeel Akhtar and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett also star in the series, which blends a tense domestic mystery with a larger, unfolding conspiracy.
