Netflix will be taking down several ‘Transformers’ movies this holiday season. If you’re a fan, you should watch them soon, as they’ll be leaving the streaming service in the next few days. These films are all about huge battles between alien robots on Earth.
‘Transformers’ (2007)

The original ‘Transformers’ movie, a live-action adventure kicking off a popular franchise, centers around Sam Witwicky and his unexpected involvement in a long-running alien robot war. The heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons fight for control of the AllSpark, bringing their battle to Earth. This action-packed science fiction film, starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox and directed by Michael Bay, will be leaving Netflix on December 25th. Expect fast-paced chases and incredible robot transformations!
‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ (2009)

Sam Witwicky is trying to enjoy college, but strange visions pull him back into the war between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ reveals more about the Transformers’ history, introducing a powerful, ancient enemy called The Fallen. This movie will be removed from the streaming service on December 25th. The film features massive battles in places like the Egyptian pyramids and centers around a desperate search for a hidden energy source that could wipe out life on Earth.
‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ (2011)

‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ reveals a secret history: a crashed spaceship on the moon from the 1960s space race. Both the Autobots and Decepticons are in a frantic search for Cybertronian technology that could bring their planet, Cybertron, to Earth. This film will be removed from Netflix on December 25th. The movie culminates in a huge battle in Chicago, filled with impressive visual effects and widespread destruction, where Optimus Prime and his allies make a last stand against Sentinel Prime and Megatron.
‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ (2014)

Several years after the events in Chicago, ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ tells the story of Cade Yeager, a mechanic who finds a broken-down truck that turns out to be Optimus Prime. Humans now distrust all Transformers, and a secret government group is tracking them down to build their own robotic forces. The movie, which introduces the powerful Dinobots as new allies and features a fresh look for the Transformers, will be removed from Netflix on December 25th. The action takes place across the globe, including a significant portion set in Hong Kong.
