
Netflix is getting ready for the new year by adding a lot of new movies and shows between December 29th and January 4th. As a big fan of ghost stories, I’m really excited about this new movie! It’s a fresh take on the classic franchise, following a new team who are basically paranormal investigators protecting New York from a sudden increase in ghostly activity. It’s a comedy, and Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig are leading the cast, which is a huge plus! They’re building all sorts of cool, high-tech gadgets to catch ghosts and unravel a really mysterious supernatural plot. It seems like they’re really focusing on the team’s scientific side and how they work together, which I think is a fun twist. It drops on Netflix January 1st, and I’m already marking my calendar!
