‘Everybody’s Fine’ (2009)

Okay, so I just saw this movie starring Robert De Niro as a dad trying to make things right with his grown kids during the holidays. It’s a really touching story about how families drift apart, and he’s trying to bridge that gap. Kirk Jones did a great job writing and directing it, and the cast is fantastic – Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, and Sam Rockwell are all in it. It’s actually a remake of an Italian film, which I thought was interesting. Overall, it’s a heartwarming but also a little bittersweet watch.
