Here Are All the Movies and TV Shows Coming to Disney+ This Week, Including ‘Young Jedi Adventures’

As a huge Disney+ fan, I’m so excited for all the new stuff coming to the service! Starting this Monday, they’re adding a ton of content – everything from really fun animated movies to awesome documentaries about music. I can’t wait to see some familiar faces again, and they’re even debuting some brand new reality shows. Plus, they’ll be dropping new episodes and specials all week long, and some of them feature big names like Kevin Costner and Taylor Swift! It’s going to be a great week to be a subscriber.

‘Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures’ (2023)

I’m so excited for the new episodes dropping on December 8th! It’s a fantastic animated series perfect for young fans and families. We get to follow Kai Brightstar and his friends as they learn the ropes from Master Yoda during the High Republic days. It’s really heartwarming to watch them grow and learn about friendship and working together as they tackle all sorts of challenges. Honestly, it’s a great way to introduce a new generation to the amazing world of the Jedi!

‘I Am Boxer’ (2025)

A new Korean reality competition premieres on December 8th. Hosted by action star Don Lee, along with Kim Jong-kook and Dex, the show searches for the next boxing superstar. Ninety contestants will push their limits through tough physical tests and boxing matches to prove they have what it takes. Expect intense competition, incredible athleticism, and a big prize for the winner, who will also take home the championship belt.

‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ (2023)

Season two begins with Percy returning to Camp Half-Blood, only to discover a strange poison is endangering the camp. He, Annabeth, and Grover must journey across the dangerous Sea of Monsters to find the Golden Fleece and save their home. This new season is based on the next book in the popular series and features frightening new monsters from mythology.

‘Secrets Declassified with David Duchovny’ (2025)

As a total movie and TV buff, I’m really excited about this new series! David Duchovny is leading us through some seriously fascinating, previously hidden stories about government mysteries. It’s all about real conspiracies – things like secret operations and unexplained events that people have been curious about for years. Each episode looks at recently declassified files, digging into things like top-secret military bases and weird science experiments. It’s not just a retelling of stories though; it mixes documentary footage with insights from experts, trying to actually get to the bottom of these long-held secrets.

‘Kevin Costner Presents: The First Christmas’ (2025)

Kevin Costner, an Academy Award winner, will host a new holiday special available on December 10th. The program tells the story of Mary and Joseph’s journey to the birth of Jesus, blending dramatic scenes with insights from religious scholars about the historical context. It’s designed as a cinematic and heartfelt retelling of the first Christmas, perfect for families to enjoy together.

‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era’ (2025)

Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated concert tour comes to the screen on December 12th with a new docuseries. The series gives fans a personal look at how the massive, worldwide tour was created and brought to life, covering five continents.
