The plot of Hell Teacher
The description on the anime’s announcement video describes the story of Hell Teacher in English as;
In this captivating tale, we join Meisuke Nueno, better known as “Nube,” on his journey. A gifted teacher with psychic abilities and a demonic appendage, Nube stands as the protector of his pupils. He engages in thrilling battles against malevolent spirits and terrifying beasts, drawing from the rich traditions of Japanese mythology and folklore to deliver an enthralling action adventure that will surely delight fans.
Nube, famous for weaving occult and horror themes into school ghost stories and urban legends, kept audiences hooked spanning generations through his valiant attempts to shield pupils from sinister supernatural perils.
In a small town named Dōmori, there is an elementary school teacher by the name of Meisuke Nueno, also known as Nūbē. He teaches Class 5–3 at this school. However, his role extends beyond that of an educator. Unseen to the eyes of the students and townsfolk, Nūbē is a proficient exorcist. Armed with the power of a mighty demon residing in his left hand, he wields this strength to safeguard Dōmori from supernatural perils. This ability, which he refers to as the Demon’s Hand, empowers him to confront and vanquish malevolent forces that lurk in the shadows.
At Dōmori Elementary School, things appear ordinary until an unusual incident occurs, typically affecting one of Nūbē’s pupils. In response, Nūbē must take matters into his hands, employing the Demon’s Hand as his primary tool to resolve the issue. However, there are instances when another spiritual weapon or a more thoughtful approach such as reasoning or placating the menacing entity is necessary to restore peace.
Towards the close, Nūbē and his pupils usually gain new insights from their experiences, returning life to its customary rhythm. The majority of this show follows a routine pattern of episodes, eschewing a comprehensive narrative in favor of focusing on characters’ actions. However, there are recurring adversaries and some extended storylines that emerge towards the series’ conclusion.
