During this time, Rob Minkoff, one of the directors of The Lion King, shared his thoughts about working with Jones, mentioning that it was fortunate for him to collaborate on a project because Jones’ voice perfectly suited the character of Mufasa.
In much the same way, Bob Iger, Disney’s CEO, expressed that James Earl Jones is among the greatest actors in film history. Reflecting on his extensive stage career and more than 200 projects under his belt, Iger also emphasized that Jones breathed life into his roles and left an indelible impact on generations of viewers.
