For this new video, Williams is taking inspiration from the classic, silent film Nosferatu, rather than the more recent vampire movie directed by Robert Eggers. That means it’s a far cry from the ‘sexy vampire’ trope. In fact, it’s got us thinking Williams would be perfect as a sexy vampire – we’re really craving one! There aren’t many on screen right now; we have to wait until summer for The Vampire Lestat, and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot doesn’t have a release date yet. We need to see Williams in a major vampire project, and soon!
Fans of both “Heated Rivalry” and “Interview with the Vampire” are having fun reacting to the Love Lucille music video online. One commenter jokingly compared Williams to a glamorized version of Uncle Fester, and many agree! Now that Williams has appeared in a vampire-themed video, fans are hoping Connor Storrie will do one too – perhaps inspired by Lestat? If he did, it would likely cause a huge reaction from both fanbases. People are already eager to see this happen!
