HBO Set to Reimagine Popular Netflix Series

I’m really excited to hear that HBO is making an American version of Call My Agent! From what I understand, instead of focusing on a Parisian talent agency, this adaptation will be set in the world of sports, following four agents as they navigate the craziness of their jobs and personal lives. It sounds like a fresh take on a fantastic show, and I can’t wait to see how they pull it off.

The show first launched in France in 2015 under the name Dix pour cent. It gained international popularity after being picked up by Netflix and rebranded as Call My Agent.

This show follows the careers and personal relationships of a group of talent agents working in Paris. They’re a tight-knit but often unpredictable team, and the original cast featured Camille Cottin, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Liliane Rovère, Fanny Sidney, Laure Calamy, Nicolas Maury, and Stéfi Celma.

HBO’s new American series centers on four sports agents who are completely dedicated to their jobs. The show explores how they try to manage their personal lives while also taking care of their athlete clients in a competitive world where being a successful athlete is only the beginning.

Sarah Schneider, who co-created the show The Other Two, is writing and executive producing a new project for HBO. She’s partnering with production companies Plan B and SpringHill Studios (a part of Fulwell Entertainment) to make it happen.

HBO is creating a new version of the popular French series Call My Agent. The show has already been successfully remade in several other countries, including Turkey, India, Germany, the U.K., and Korea, and a Chinese adaptation is also said to be in the works.
