What to Expect in Season 2
In the second series, we find ourselves five years past the incidents from the first, with Joel and Ellie encountering fresh personal struggles and a world that’s grown increasingly treacherous and erratic.
In this new version, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie. Additionally, Gabriel Luna (as Tommy) and Rutina Wesley (Maria) will be making an appearance again. Joining the cast are Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, and Catherine O’Hara in a guest spot.
The Team Behind the Series
The creative control of the show continues with Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. They are set to reprise their roles as writers, producers, and directors for the project.

Before it even debuts, the upcoming season is garnering robust initial acclaim on Rotten Tomatoes, currently boasting an impressive 96% rating.

Production Details
The television series “The Last of Us” is derived from the PlayStation game that was created by Naughty Dog. Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are in charge of writing and executive producing this show, while Sony Pictures Television also plays a role in its production. Other individuals involved in production include Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells.
